The work was performed as scheduled, with minumum fuss and disruption, cleaned up at the end of each day. The existing 30-year-old installation had a number of flaws which had been concealed by carpeting and trim work; these were discretely corrected. The result is a simple and elegant transformation which appears as though it has always been in place.
We are very pleased with the entire experience. It has inspired us to continue the carpet-to-wood conversion to the upper level, and it is here that their professionalism has been best displayed: Although the added work was theirs for the taking, they declined, with the explanation that a flooring professional would do a better job in this area than they could.
