All Valley Garage Door

It was done well!   I am very happy!

I have put in many garage door openers in my homes over the years. When our eight year old Craftsman garage door opener recently bit the dust, I decided I would rather have a professional do the work. My wife called Sears to come out and I convinced her to cancel them and we would use All Valley Garage Door. They had a good rating on Angie's list and I'm a big believer in utilizing local business when possible. We called and got an appointment and they came out the next day. They had a unit on their truck which they said was a great unit, made by Chamberlain. The technician was very helpful, helping us set up our cars so they would work with the unit. The technician mentioned to my wife several times if something stopped working on the unit to ensure we called the manufacturer prior to calling them as they would charge us to come back out. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A WARNING TO US. We have had to adjust, and adjust, and adjust, the security sensor to have the garage door work properly. My wife called, and then I called the company as was told, they were working when they left and they would have to charge us $70 to come back out an work on them. This was within a couple of days of installation. Oh how I wish I had listened to my wife and gone with Sears. Even if we were having this issue, they would have come back out and ensured the installation was correct. If something brand new is installed and just a couple of days later is not working it sure seems to me that perhaps something wasn't installed correctly. We end up playing with the sensors about once a week now to attempt to get them lined up so they work correctly. Although the company was very responsive and their technician was very helpful, their customer service after the sale has been DISMAL!

They were great! I would highly recommend them. They are very professional. They worked with us well. We had custom stuff done and they were wonderful. I have told several people about them.

Based on ratings from Angie's List, called day before to set appointment for following morning; mechanic called to ask if he could come EARLY! Arrived, introduced himself and quickly completed the repairs. When he finished, he pointed out some issues we might have in the future but said this repair should "buy us some time" before we have to face added expense. Completely happy with the experience and certainly will call this company for needed work when the time comes.

The service was great. Even though we called right in the middle of the holiday season we got prompt service at a good price. We recognize that this is a temporary fix. When it comes time to replace the door we will likely call this firm.

The phone was answered in a professional manner and an appointment scheduled for the next day. The technician, Graeme, was here promptly at the scheduled time. I told him the garage door was sticking sometimes. He readjusted the spring, lubricated and oiled track and spring and tightened screws in the track. Then he took time to explain to me what he had done and what I might watch for to keep the door and opener in top condition when I lube it. He was quick, clean and courteous. All Valley Garage Door had installed the door two years ago. I was pleased with their service then and remain pleased.

THEY TESTED THE DOOR AND FOUND THAT THE GEAR AND SPROCKET NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. WHILE HERE THEY CHECKED OTHER DOOR FOR FUTURE PROBLEMS JUST TO BE NICE! SERVICEMAN WAS POLITE AND COMPLETED HIS WORK QUICKLY.
