Accurate Drywall & Stucco Repair

Scott was able to respond within an hour of the initial call. He ensured there was no underlying damage and quickly made the repairs in a professional manner. The result was outstanding. I would definitely use him again for all of my handyman needs.

This company was used as a sub, for a AV contractor I had brought in to do some cable work. They did the patch repairs on the numerous cutouts that were necessary for the AV cabling work. I didn't work or pay them directly under this job, but I was impressed with the professionalism of the people that came out to do the work, so I wanted to have them come back on a separate job to repair numerous cracks that had surfaced in the ceiling of the recently purchased home.
The owner came out and looked the job over. Gave me what seemed like an off the cuff price for the job. Seemed high in my opinion. No written quote, nothing. I contacted him about a month later to agree to the job. He kept is price for the work which was honorable since we didn't have anything in writing. Was told he would call back the next day to schedule the work. He didn't. I had to call numerous times to get a time they would be out. Requested many many times to get a written agreement and ROC# before he should bother scheduling something. Insisted we have this in writing before starting. I did finally get a agreement, but it took a while.
The crew arrived on time, same two guys as before. Very nice individuals. They did mostly a good job, but they ran out of supplies, drop cloth, and tape I believe too, and ended up using some of my own! One guy who did most of the mudding was on his cell phone quite a bit while he was working. I didn't notice until later after the texture had dried, but the spray finish was not consistent. He matched some areas well, others were too heavy, overspray, etc. Looks like they let it dry too long before they did a knock down pass. Also left two knife cuts in a wall they weren't even working on. To the owners credit, he did call, and asked if everything was satisfactory before they left. At the time it looked fine, but what do I know. It was a bunch of wet drywall mud.
Ended up calling them out again due to an area they missed in the garage. They fixed the cuts in the wall, and repaired a few additional areas that surfaced. Again, difficulty in scheduling a time to get them out. Again seemed like a high price, and again, inconsistent results. Some areas were too heavy on the spray. Yeah, he was on the phone again here too.
Overall they did OK work, but I think they got lazy and some areas do not look so good once dried. That and the difficulty in scheduling the work with the owner, I don't think I would use them again in the future.
