I just bought a cute house that was flipped by someone that was not a professional contractor and I had recently hired a different plumber to fix a kitchen sink leak at the home I am selling and felt they took advantage of me by charging to much. I also have a home warrantee with Old Republic Home Warrantee which does not cover repairs outside of the home (very unhappy with them). So I am really being carefull with hiring anyone or spending my money.

This time I was looking for someone that could give me a ballpark idea of what it would cost to replace the shut off valve on my new old house. Most of the plumbing companies want to charge a fee just to travel to your home, but I wanted to have an idea of what I was getting into. The job looked straight forward to me. I found A Flush Above and called. I was called back within the hour and was given my ballpark estimate of $150.00 over the phone. This guy did a great job, was extremely knowlegable, was polite and normal. He fixed more than the shut off valve that he gave the estimate on. He gave me a new faucet where the shut off valve was and fixed the leaks in my washer faucet for me also. I definetely will call him back when I get ready to have some plumbing done. He fixed everything with ease and left within the hour. Wow, he knew what he was doing! I'm very pleased and feel that I got more than my money's worth!

My husband liked them very much. They guy who came out was very honest. He took out the old pump, put in a new one, lined it up and replaced the valve. He came on time and did everything he was supposed to do. My husband had a plumber before who he did not like very much and who did not do anything for us. We would use them again in the future.
