He charges $80 - $85 depending on what needs to be done. They're very good and very reputable. He's good but not quite as on the spot. He's very good but not as quite as readily available as the other company. His price was about average.

I had been concerned about the potential damage a broken water heater could cause if it went unnoticed for even a short time, (especially after one of my water heaters in an outside closet developed a leak that was noticed by chance before any damage occurred, but could have been a nightmare). I called Luker Plumbing to see if there were a way to shut off the water to the water heaters (and the whole house for that matter) when we went out of town without shutting off water to the pool and landscape irrigation. Harry came out and looked at my situation and offered some good suggestions. In the meantime, Sandy promptly prepared quotes for me. I came across something online called a Floodstop emergency valve that shuts off the water supply to the water heater when it senses water in the pan. Harry had never installed one before, but he and Sandy were very patient answering my questions, and I ordered one ($114 online). Harry spent 3 hours rerouting the drain pan line and installing the Floodstop valve and controller (which I will get hooked up to my alarm system), and moving the wh manual shut off valve to make it more easily accessible, since it was way back behind the water heater (you had to be a contortionist to reach it). We figured we would try the Floodstop on one water heater and then do the other if we thought it worked well. It worked great when we tested it, and I feel alot more comfortable knowing that the water line into the heater will shut off automatically should it ever develop a leak. I was impressed with Harry and Sandy's patience in answering my questions, and their promptness and professionalism with the work and with quotes. I thought their pricing was reasonable, and I felt that they cared about giving a good value with their service.

Harry Luker replaced the valve quickly and did a beautiful job. He came within a few hours of being called and arrived just when his wife said he would. Wonderful 'Mom and Pop' team. Can't say enough about how reasonable and efficient they were.

After I contacted Sandy, the Office Manager about our leaking valve, Mr. Luker checked out the problem, ordered the Wilkins 420 repair kit ($ 31.00), and installed it for $ 80 labor + sales tax. They are honest and dependable. Mr. Luker also replaced a Moen balance spool # 1423 in a guest bathroom shower for $ 157.52 in October 2010.

They are excellent. The owner is wonderful, reliable, and always shows up on time. His wife is wonderful with the scheduling. He is just a master plumber. He is very knowledgeable, I think he is a 4th generation plumber. He just knows everything. He is reasonable, doesn't over charge. He does a good job and cleans up any mess. He is just wonderful. He's also very competitive and has never overcharged. He has excellent quality. He always shows up on time, he's fast, and he's efficient. I couldn't ask for a better plumber. He's very, very punctual.

HARRY OWNS HIS OWN COMPANY AND HIS WIFE IS THE BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PERSON. HE IS QUIET, BUT FRIENDLY; KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING AND WORKS HARD.

I'VE USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD EXCELLENT RESULTS. VERY CONSCIENTIOUS OF THE HOME THEY'RE WORKING IN.

HE IS ALWAYS PROMPT, COURTEOUS, FINDS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE WAY TO DO THINGS, HAS FAIR PRICES, ALWAYS RETURNS PHONE CALLS AND GETS TO THE JOB AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AND IF THE JOB IS NOT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME HE WILL GET RIGHT BACK TO YOU AND FIX IT AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
