". I conducted a home inspection for David and did a through job. I apologize for the laugh. I thought the repairs were over estimated. The report detailing to issues was shared by someone other than me to the homeowner. It is the homeowners right to know the extent of the repairs. I have provided contractors information to David. I am not the contractor. I am not responsible for repairs."
"Please know that I am sympathetic to my client situation. A residential real estate inspection is a snapshot in time, a non-invasive, visual inspection. The water heater was not brand new and had typical minor corrosion indicative of its age. It was not leaking and functioned adequately during the inspection. I am not a mold inspector, and my agreement says I do not inspect or test for mold. That said, the photos my client showed me do not appear to be mold. They look like hard water stains. My client performed repairs without having the substance tested for mold. I wish my client the best, but I do not believe I am responsible for the issue."
