This is a FANTASTIC venue for birthday parties! Z house can accommodate up to 8 kids per party, and each kid gets a "blank" bowl or cup to paint as they see fit. The cost of $15 per child includes use of Z House's beautiful backyard patio area for three hours, so parents can bring their own meal, cake, etc. Dina also gives tours of her workshop during the party, including looking at the kiln -- the kids love that part.
Dina takes the pottery everyone has painted, and then glazes it and fires it. The kids have their completed, personalized pottery back in about two weeks -- Dina makes very everyday-useful pieces that are dishwasher- and microwave-safe.
In the end, everyone had a great time. I can't recommend Z House highly enough!
