They are fantastic. They came out and fix it. No problem. They even program my car [16:49]. I have used them 2 or 3 times. They are my go to when it comes to garage door. They are very responsible. They are really good. They are a little bit on the high side.

I paid the bill, knowing I'd been nailed but what can ya do about it? A week later when the opener didn't work, the company reluctantly sent out a service person who tried to blame the openers failure on 1.) me 2.) the heat 3.) the installation being done wrong and 4.) the quality of workmanship of the installer, and 5.) our existing wiring which they re-used being too lazy to rerun new!
By this time I'd had it with the BS and told him that if he didn't get it working, he could remove it and take it back. I'd stop the payment or reverse the credit card as needed and we'd call it even.  At that point he suddenly figured out how to fix it, and the opener started working again.
Five days later, I came home and it would no open.  Again.  Called Precision and they sent out another guy - this time  one supposedly expert in the Jackshaft style openers.  After talking with him, I found that his "expertise" extended to the two or three he had installed prior to this one!  Some expert!
The third service guy did however rewire the surge protector and the infared sensors.  This got most of the problems, but not all of them.
The car remote never could be programmed to the home-link built in opener in the BMW.  Both BMW and HOMELINK tried for hours on the phone and could not get it to work. They finally came to the conclusion that the remote was not compatible with the built-in home link openers that come on every BMW!
Several of these guys tried to tell me my door needed major overhaul. (It was three years old!)  It did not. I chose to not fall for that ploy by pleading poverty.
Seems that Precision installers have a "quota" of "extras" they're supposed to sell. There are very few set prices and these guys will gouge you for whatever they think you'll pay! Needless to say, I think the have the ethics of an alley cat. Or worse. Even an alley cat can be charming. These service people only complained about their employer, the products, and how difficult it was to work on the Jackshaft openers.
My advice. Avoid Precision Garage door. The Jackshaft openers are great if they're properly installed. Quiet, fast, and solid as a rock.  Just make sure the company and service guy knows you will not pay for it until its' installed perfectly and working as it should. Also check for what's in the kit before they try to charge you extra for each item. These high end openers are often sold as a "kit" of parts and contain all the extras in that kit.

It was a Big Deal that I purchased for $99. They did a good job but I have noticed that there is a piece on my garage door that is buckling. I am going to have to call them back. I think I would use them again.

Service tech was knowledgeable and very good at what he does. I suspect I may have overpaid somewhat, but the quality of work was very good.

The prices were pretty high. He replaced some things that I'm not sure needed replacing. They came out right away and the responsiveness was good.

Exceptional service. Not only was the only bad one replaced, but shown where 2 others would eventually go bad as well. He then gave me replacements for these two as well as new screws so that I wouldn't have to call or go purchase the items later. Also, a couple of months later, another part went bad. It was a part that the garage door opener drive screw turns to make the door go up or down. This seems to wear down and needs to be replaced periodically, which I didn't know (not ever having one of these before.) I went to their office and purchased the part. Best part is that they explained the best way to replace the part, which probably would have taken me an hour or so to figure out by myself.

The work was alright. They were very pleasant to deal with, but I later found out that I didn't need $600.00 worth of work. I just don't believe that they are honorable.

I called them one morning and they came out the same day. They were quick, professional and no hassle. I have had it in for two weeks now and it runs smoothly and quietly. Though the price seemed high to me when I can do this myself, in the long run this was worth the labor cost to not do it myself!

WE HAVE USED PRECISION DOOR FOR THIS JOB AS WELL AS OTHERS. WE WERE HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE. A COUPLE OF TIMES IT TOOK A LITTLE LONGER FOR A CALL BACK, BUT OVERALL THEY WERE GOOD. THE QUALITY OF THE WINDOWS WAS GOOD AND THE WORKERS FRIENDLY. THE WINDOWS ALSO HAD A SLIGHT TINT.

WE HAD USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE FOR A NEW KITCHEN WINDOW AS WELL AS NEW INTERIOR DOORS. WE FOUND THIS MOST RECENT JOB WITH THE NEW WINDOWS DIDN'T LEAVE US AS HAPPY. THE QUALITY OF THE WINDOWS WAS GOOD AND THE OWNER VERY NICE, HOWEVER, THE INSTALLERS WEREN'T GREAT. WE FELT THEY RUSHED THE INSTALLATION JOB (USING A CAULKING COLOR THAT DIDN'T MATCH INSTEAD OF LEAVING TO GO PURCHASE THE CORRECT COLOR AND LEAVING A MESSY JOB. I WILL SAY THAT WHEN WE COMPLAINED TO THE OWNER HE WAS HAPPY TO HAVE THE JOB REDONE, WHICH WE DID. IF I USED THIS COMPANY AGAIN I WOULD INSIST ON A DIFFERENT WORK CREW.
