They needed to go back to the store to get a part because they gave them the wrong part. They ended up charging me an additional $90 for the travel time to go back and get that. I don't believe they should of charge me for that and I will not use them again.

They're perfectly competent, but I wasn't too happy with the charges for what they did actually do. In other words, the cost of the service call versus what they actually had to do and the time they actually spent, I wasn't real happy with that. They're probably very very highly skilled plumbers, but they charge accordingly too. They're pretty high. It was $100 for maybe 10 minutes work. I can't really judge them, they didn't do much. But, I think they're competent. I had no doubts about their ability to do whatever it is that needed to be done. I would use them if that is the only one that was available. They wouldn't be my first choice.

Mountain High had a plumber who was able to come on a day that was convenient for me. I told them exactly what needed to be done so that they would (hopefully) come with the right materials. Worker showed up, took a look and then left for 45 minutes to "go to the shop." Worker then installed the heaters and left me with a bill that included the 45 minute drive to the shop.
1 week later, on a Saturday, my husband and I were sitting downstairs and noticed water leaking from the ceiling underneath where the hot water heater was installed upstairs. Went to check the water heater and noticed that one of the original hoses had not been replaced even though I was billed for all new hoses. Called the company and was told that unless the original repair man came to the house, I would be billed for the repair. Of course, the original repair man was off until Monday.
On Monday, after 2 days without a hot shower, I called and spoke with the manager and was told that it is company policy to not have a different repair man fix a problem, even if it is an inconvenience to the costumer. I also learned on Monday that the our original repair man had quit over the weekend. So, they sent out a different repair man anyway who replaced the hose. They did not charge me for this repair.
The company also paid to repair my ceiling drywall after I called to complain.

The lifter pump that connects our house to the street sewer line failed.
We contacted Mountain High and, to their credit, they did come right
out. However, they said because it was the holidays it would take up to 2
weeks to get a new pump in. At first this didn't matter because we were
to be gone for nearly 3 weeks over Christmas and New Year. When we
returned the pump was still not installed and the provider attempted to
convince us to install a pump that was less than the required specs, but
said if he did so, he could not guarantee it. When we continued to
insist on the correct pump, one "magically" appeared. We were not happy.
To add to this, one year later the connection between the pump and
sewer line failed and sewage began to back up into pump well. To their
credit, they came out very quickly and solved the problem, but still,
the coupling should have been tightened properly in the first place

The price was for one hour service call. They were respectable. They got back to me in a timely fashion with a voice message and they showed up probably within five minutes from the scheduled time which wasn’t bad. The diagnosed the issue within few minutes and fixed it.

They are the second-best plumbers in town. They are a much bigger company than my regular plumber. So, if something happened at the hotel in the middle of the night, I would call this company as they have 24-hour service. They can do bigger jobs. They have more resources to get the job done. I use them for major works, which requires a lot of technicians. They have about 12-15 plumbers. So, sometimes you get a new man to do the job. Their prices are comparable. They charge $65 an hour. I will use them in the future.

The work inside the house was completed rapidly and professionally. The external work [gas line] was completed professionally but not in accordance with our instructions.  There are smaller companies that don't display the variability in repair quality that come with dealing with a large company.

After their last job in which they asked me to dig a hole to make a sewer repair and then tried to charge me for them digging the hole, I phoned one of the owners. I complained in detail and the result was to generally defend their workmanship and attitudes and offer to reduce the cost of the last job. I paid nothing. It appears to me that they are unaware that their are multiple problems with their workmanship and attitudes.
