They were good, I like them. The thing that I like about them is that they give an actual quote and we had a landscaping quote so they drew us up like an architectural kind of review that we could submit to the HOA, so they're very thorough.

We contacted them last fall to winterize our sprinkler system. They did an ok job but this spring they decided to enter our property and restart our sprinkler system without being asked or authorized to do so and sent us an invoice for $55. They claim that we requested to be put on their automatic maintenance list which is patently false. They also failed to contact us to confirm if we indeed wanted the service and to find an acceptable date and time, which would have been in their best interest since we have a large guard dog. Finally, they did not even set-up the sprinkler system properly as one of the solenoid valves was still turned off and now I am having issues with the system that I was not having prior to their unauthorized service- so what were they charging us for in the first place?! This is my first experience ever having a contractor perform services that were NOT requested so they have earned an F.

They were knowledgeable about our sprinkler system. Were able to figure out what was wrong in a timely manner. Were professional in their approach to this job. The repair was successful. We also used this company to winterize our sprinkler system this month.

Morning Dew developed a plan and design for a patio that covered about a
third of the backyard of our townhouse as well as other hard scape
features using decorative stone and a variety of low-maintenance
plantings, an important quality for this redesign project since the
townhouse is a rental. Chris Lloyd was excellent to work with -- he took
our general design ideas and developed them into a design that
literally transformed the backyard from a nondescript space with an
original concrete slab patio and long-neglected grass area into an
inviting and aesthetically attractive environment. What's more, he
developed the plan with input from us by phone and email since we live
in Maryland and only had one opportunity to meet with him at the
townhouse this past April, when we were in Flagstaff and met with him
and two other landscape companies to solicit proposals. As we finalized
the plan, he was also helpful in translating for us the pattern and
color differences in the Belgard pavers between the ones available in
the Southwest and the ones we viewed on the East Coast.
When the installation happened, Chris was able to get permission from
the property manager of an adjacent apartment complex to temporarily
remove a section of chain link fence on the apartments property, which
permitted access to our backyard, saving substantial labor costs to
either have wheel-barrowed the materials several hundred feet around the
end of the row of townhouses ours is part or or to have had to move the
materials to the backyard via our garage and dining room. He also
coordinated the installation with a painting company that was scheduled
to paint the townhouse's exterior in August, saving us the extra
logistics of doing that communication and coordination between the two
contractors.
The resulting installation was done in the time frame we were told to
expect with a slight delay in the installation of the tree and shrubs
because of my timing in making the choices for those items. After it was
complete, my son, who lives in the townhouse, noticed a couple of minor
issues with spacing between some of the pavers on the perimeter the
patio, which Chris Lloyd was prompt to fix.
It was a delight to work with Chris and Morning Dew and I've mentioned
his work to the manager of our town home association management company
in case owner owners are thinking about upgrading their yards.

They winterize and dewinterize my home every year, and they do a great job. They are very dependable, and they came out to fix my irrigation system very promptly. They are really a top notch company.
