They're perfect. It was wonderful. They showed up and moved all the furniture. They worked hard and did a great job. I would recommend them to anybody. I just interviewed them over the phone and they sounded really good. Their prices are good. We had a lot of furniture to move and they're willing to do that. They could do on the time frame we wanted and they're available to do that.

I chose Dark Star Flooring over another flooring company because I felt that the owner, Eric Wetzel, was more honest than the competitor. He allowed me to do some of the work myself in order to reduce the overall cost (tear-out and removal of old carpet). Part of the time Eric had another worker helping him and both were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Installing laminate floors requires cutting boards, which creates wood dust, so they were courteous enough to tape a clear plastic sheet up between one of the rooms and the kitchen to prevent dust from getting in the kitchen. The time estimate for the work was accurate and they finished the rooms in the order that I requested. After finishing each room, they would clean the floor and shut the door. There were several custom pieces that Eric had to make, requiring cutting and staining, which turned out great. The floors look great and I am very happy with the finished product.

Dark Star Flooring came out and quoted the job, and was able to complete the job in a fast manner as well as staying in budget. They ripped out a lot of carpet, did prep and actually started to lay flooring down on the first day. Eric was very professional and efficient. He was able to work on our schedule, help even pick up the supplies when needed, and kept the house clean and debris free as he worked. I would highly recommend Dark Star Flooring for any flooring job, big or small, cheap or high end. Our house looks wonderful, and has a lot of added value due to the great work done.
