Not well. I was given his name by a neighbor who said Noah Green was a good handyman. I called him because my cooler stopped working. I agreed to wait from Thursday to Monday because of the recommendation. He was to arrive at 6:00 am. He was 30 minutes late. He determined I needed a motor for the cooler and he would have to run to Ace a pick one up. I asked if I could do it and he said he would. He was gone at least 45 minutes doing who knows what. He came back and installed the unit in 10 minutes. He charged me for all of the time he was gone when Ace is only 2 minutes from my house. I found out later that the motor cost 79.99. He charged me 110.00 for the motor. He charged me for an hour and a half time to change the motor. He did not check the pump or anything else, he just put in the motor. The labor was $48.00. The trip charge was $25 (he is a neighbor) and tax was $15.00 but the receipt does not indicate what the $15.00 was really for. When I confronted him about mark up for the motor he said it was his inventory mark up. He did not have any inventory he simply when to Ace Hardware and picked one up which I offered to do and would have saved my $30.00. He charged me for the half hour he was late, and the 45 minutes he was gone. So I was overcharged 30.00 for the motor, overcharged an hours time which inflated the tax. When I confronted him he was belligerent and yelled at me. I told him he gouged me and he did. If he indeed had a motor on his truck and was not gone for the length of time he was, I could see the mark up on the motor. But he did not have one and I was charged for lengthy labor charged. His demeanor and argumentative stance was upsetting. I would never recommend this guy. You would pay less if you called a licensed heating and cooling company.
