guy took my tv all the way to eloy in a tiny car to repair it. i handed him a box with a full set of replacement PCB"s that he wanted to use for testing. he ended up junking the tv and keeping the box of PCB's i gave him for testing. he swore he would return them when he was done. but now he wont even answer his phone or return any messages. for all i know he's using my tv right now. expected more out of him, but i guess all he really is, is a thief and a con. he may have been reliable at some time a few years ago. but not anymore. dude owes me $450 now.

After listing my problem on Home Advisor, within minutes I got a call from Andy Abels of Abels Audio Service Center. After explaining my situation, he walked me through all of corrections to make. After following his instructions and I had my TV on line again. I can highly recommend this TV expert for his knowledge and quick response to my problems. He refused to take a fee for this expertise. Andy from Abel's Video Service came out,diagnosed and verified the issue after speaking with the manufacturer. His honesty was very much appreciated. Given the options of either replacing or repairing the item, Andy suggested it would be better to replace rather than repair. It's this kind of integrity that will have me calling on and referring Andy @Abel's Video Service again.

Repair could not be done, parts could not be found (TV 14 years old). Andy did spend a fair amount of time in searching for the replacement parts. He did show up on time (or even earlier) for his appointments, but he didn't always return calls when he said he would. He always did answer his calls, I just had to call back when he said he'd call me back in a few days in his parts search. No unnecessary charges, and Andy certainly knew his stuff.
