Desert Mesa Painting

We met Joe from Desert Mesa Painting when he was dropping off flyers for their business. We decided to have the company bid on the exterior painting of our home, then contracted with them, and they did an excellent job. We sold that home and had Joe back to bid on the interior painting for our new home. Again, we were impressed and happy with the work.

Let me just start off by saying that I have never written a review before because I feel it is not worth my time. Well, today is the day where I inform everyone that is thinking about contracting this company to look elsewhere. George Piper Watson, who owns the company now after taking it over from his father has managed to not communicate at all with Me (as a customer) or the workers that he has sent over to fix and repair. George use to run a roofing company (his contractor license has been revoked, you can check the azroc.com website). He company did a horrible job, lots of leaks and water damage all over my living room. George (after weeks of calling and texting him) decided to send 2 painters so had no idea what they were there for to come and fix the roof leak. They attempted to fix the leak. Drywall repair has been an absolute nightmare with this guy. Do yourself a huge favor, dont contract this guy or any of his affiliate companies do anything at your home. Extremely disappointed in his professionalism and complete lack of communication. I will be filing a compliant with the county office and taking this claim to the fullest extend.

Everything was taken care of perfectly. Quality workmanship! Great cleanup afterwards. We would recommend Desert Mesa Painting to our friends. We will also call them for future home maintenance.

It went very well. I did my homework and had two other quotes. Desert Mesa Painting did more work for the same price as the other companies. The painters and roofers lead by Jorge did a detailed job. I will use them to paint the interior of my home and am recommending Desert Mesa Painting to my neighbors.

This company did everything asked and more. Joe came out to give an estimate and explain what paint and caulk they use, very informative. George and his partner, sorry didn't get his name were excellent in doing their work. They moved a large pot I have on the front porch into the garage for me without a question. They filled every crack and did a great job caulking. As far as being careful and not messy, they were great. I have cool deck on the patio and coating on the front walk and drive way and nothing was hit with paint. Great job from a great company. Thank you Joe and the crew. Would definitely use again.

They are very high-pressure salesmen. Quality of their work does not compare to others. The next time the exterior needed painting, we got someone else who did a much better job and for no more money whereas, years later, prices usually have increased.

AWESOME - can't believe it's the same old house that I just bought -- QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY! I will never use anyone else - there's no comparison between this paint job and the one done on my other house years ago, These guys spent 2 whole days caulking every crevice and wow, what a difference that makes. After the caulking they did a perfect job of applying TWO coats of acrylic paint. What a beautiful, smooth looking finish. My neighbor was so impressed she had them paint her house right after ours was done - think that tells you we weren't the only ones who were impressed!

No money was requested up front and we didn't did not have to pay until we were completely satisfied. They corrected all issues until we were completely happy with the entire project. His entire crew is bonded and they go to great lengths to protect your home.

It all honesty it went well. However, I did ask him for a quote to stucco my brick wall and paint it to match the house. He never provided a quote for that work. He also stated that he would pay a referral fee to anyone who I recommended. I recommended two people and I know one used him and I never received a referral fee. 
His brother painted our house next door. We live in a gated community and they homeowners wanted to change the color of the house paint and of course, to do this you have to go through the HOA. His brother stated he wasn't going to wait for the HOA; if they charged the homeowners for not getting the approval, he would pay the fee. Interesting. . . .

I don't like them. I don't think he pays his workers adequately, and he is too big to be cheap. The work was adequate, but I didn't like the boss, he is arrogant. He was a little pushy, and he was rushing for it to be done.

Very well, work was on time and on cost!  Just a great job!

Joe came by one day when his crew was painting some houses up the street, and did a quick estimate.  I checked out the work on the other houses as well as reviews on Angie's List and decided to go for it.  I was given color charts, but he said he could mathc just about anything.  The crew came by the next afternoon and did a power wash on the house.  Next day they did prep, including crack repair.  The third day they painted. 
The whole process was quick and efficient.  They painted house, trim and gutters.  I had one small issue with some caulk around the base that didn't take.  That was remedied the next day. 
I chose the high quality acrylic paint.  If I'd wanted to get by a little cheaper, I could have chosen a lower quality paint and saved about $500.

EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTH. THEY WERE DONE WITHIN THE TIME FRAME AGREED UPON. EXCELLENT JOB!!!!

overall this company performed an excellent job. The painting is guaranteed and guess what? It still looks new at this time of reveiw writing....the crew was professional and performed at a timely fashion. I highly reccommand this company for all your exterior painting. Top quality and excellent workmanship combined with outstanding sales gives you the best company in the area to give your home or business a fantastic facelift.
