Verde Veterinary Hospital

Just moved here from Los Angeles. Vet spent quality time with my collie. His eyes were runny. Gave us meds. Also heartworms test n years meds. She will follow up with eye specialist for other issues. She was kind and gentle and knowledgeable. I felt confident with the care. Will definitely continue to use them.

Very good vet. My dog was very comfortable with her.

It went very smooth overall. I felt like the vet cared for my cat very well.

I have used Verde Veterinary Hospital for about fourteen years. My dog likes the veterinarian.

They have a lot of different veterinarians that seem to come and go; that kind of bothers me. They had one that kind of specialized in cats and that was good. She used to give us a lot of good information but she left. They seem to have a big turnover with their doctors. We can call and get in any time so that is one thing that is a plus. I am not happy with not having the same vet every time I go in. It is always expensive no matter what I am there for. Three years ago it was $32 for a vaccination, $35 for a rabies shot and $24 for 12 cans of food. They don't give alternatives to get shots or medications elsewhere but if I tell them I want to get it somewhere else they will give me a prescription. They are very, very responsive. I am thinking of looking for a new veterinarian.

They took blood for a T-4 test. This was only one of many times I've taken my dogs into this pet hospital. I've been using this hospital for over 12 years for my dogs. I especially like Dr. Gummo-Wagner. She's a very gentle and professional vet and my dogs have always liked her.
