C&M CONSTRUCTION & HANDYMAN

Back in October based on the referral from Angi's List I contacted Chris of C&M Construction To renovate my bathroom at my rental property in Sedona. He outlined the project and we agreed on a price and a completion date which was no later than December 1st when I was to arrive in Sedona to do a final review and inspection of the project. To my chagrin, he was no where near completing the project and demanded more money which I refused based on our original agreement as well as the dissatisfaction with the meager work that he performed. Much of the delay was also do to the fact that he was in the process of separation from his wife and this cause many problems for him including the fact that he contacted me shortly before Thanksgiving telling me he would not be able to complete the project nor was he going to do any further work on the project until his wife's name was removed from the business and he got more money. His inability to fulfill his commitment forced me to officially terminate him. When he was told to pick up his equipment from the tenants residence he entered the premise and threatened my tenants that because he wasn't paid more money he and was terminated he was going to undo whatever little work that he had done. The tenants called me in a panic, I told them to call the 911 local police which I also called to have him removed. The police arrived and told Chris to pick up his equipment and leave the premises or he would be arrested. He finally left the premises and is not allowed to ever return to the property. Chris also had picked up over $1600 of bathroom fixtures which I paid for in advance which he was suppose to install but never installed it and refused to return the items that I had ordered and paid for online at Home Depot. Chris I also found out was never state licensed contractor despite him telling me he was. He never produced his state license number.

Chris was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We are very happy with the work he did.

He was great. He diagnosed the problem, went and got what was needed and stayed until it was right!

Needed three sliding glass doors worked on, they were very difficult to open. The doors were removed, the tracks and doors were cleaned and lubricated. They are now working correctly. Chris and Millisa were very responsive, worked rapidly, and completed the job without any problems or delays.

They got my small job done very nicely. They fit us in same day. I will hire them again!

Chris discover more damage then was originally foreseeable and stepped up and got the job done. No issues, easy to deal with. Fair prices and good personality. No excuses and got the job done right the first time (fast response). House look like nothing happen by the time he walked out ~ even better! I would recommend him to friends and family.
