JIm first began the inspection by indicating areas that he would cover and those he could not, since the home still had furniture and other items in it. His first task was to inspect the exterior of the home, including climbing up on the roof to check the condition of all aspects of the roof, a/c unit, etc. He then went room-by-room, checking in detail all the plumbing and electrical, windows, etc. Periodically, he would share information regarding his findings; and he answered every question and concern that I raised. When he completed the 4 hour inspection, he explained his preliminary findings via a printed report. He emailed the final report which included photos, to me the next morning.
I've had inspections done in California and Missouri; and admit that I have not had as detailed, thorough and professional home inspection done in either state. Jim approached the inspection as if it were a property that he was interested in purchasing; and in my opinion, that made his inspection more valuable to me as a prospective home owner.
His preliminary and detailed reports gave me a starting point as to what needs to be repaired, fixed and/or delayed prior to moving in.

They were good and believe that he went above and beyond. He told me things that needed to be done to the house. He caught something on the water heater that I didn't think that he had to. I thought that was good!
