Repairs and painting were done as quoted, and done well. Took a bit more time than anticipated due to cold weather. I would hire Alvarez painting again for future work.

I paid a down payment for 1000 and one month later Juan Alvarez and partner showed up. They were done after a few hours, the partner conversing on his phone or with Juan about private and family matters in Spanish. He worked on the doors and windows, while Juan did the walls. They collected final payment and left. Juan Alvarez returned for small correction on front door, angry and plaintive for wasting his time.

Upon my request for down payment funds, which was used for material purchases, we agreed on a date/time to start the job. I showed up as scheduled and ready to complete your original scope of work. Within the first hour of work you requested a change to the original scope. Throughout the job you changed the scope multiple times, and each time I accommodated. At the end of the job, as I do all my jobs, I asked for your final inspection of work to confirm all your requests had been completed, to which you confirmed. Your review is coming 9 months after the completion of your job(s) and again unfortunate that you feel my work was poor. I wish you well, have a nice day."

My experience was great. The exterior of my house needed stucco repair, and it needed to be painted. Juan and his crew did an awesome job! I would definitely hire him again in the future if needed. My neighbor also commented on what a great job Juan and his crew did.

Juan did a great job, and was very flexible with scheduling. I'd scheduled a cleaning crew too soon after painting began, and Juan agreed to come back the day after the cleaning crew did their work.

They asked for my feedback as they went, to make sure it was up to my standards (and I am pretty picky!)... They even completed a few extra small tasks for me at no charge.
