Jerry was prompt on setting up the estimate and started the job just days later. Jerry did a fantastic job on the re-piping. I had experienced very low water pressure and that has improved a lot with the new re-piping. Also had Jerry take out an old harvest gold tub and he installed a new shower in its place. All of the work was done very professionally and he did a fabulous job. My work was all done back in January and sorry it took so long to add this review. Would absolutely recommend Jerry to anyone needing work done. The charges were very fair. $2200 for the re-piping and $1600 for the new shower.
We have used Courtesy Pluming for not only all of our primary home repairs, but we also have 4 rental homes they service as well. They are THE BEST!!! and we would never even consider letting another company take care of any of our plumbing issues for any of our properties.
"Not knowing why this review is 1 year later after work was performed, but will address customers concerns. many trips were made to bid and actually do the work that was bid. The toilets were an addition to the repipe bid, and were to be installed while doing the repipe for a minimum charge. The one bathroom floor under toilet needed to be replaced due to water damage. I believe the hot water faucet added to the fall-out of the whole job. I went with what her Husband requested. I went above and beyond as I do with all my customers. I am usually at the job when I say I will be. As you will read I have an A+ rating"
Luckily she found a neighbor to turn off water, as she cannot walk without a walker, very limited mobility.
Checked Angieslist to find a plumber and she called to get an estimate. Jerry the plumber came and replaced a galvanized pipe but said all piping needs to be replaced. He said that other leaks could pop up. This was on May 1st, 2015 Within a few days the had the same problem, water leaking from under house.
Called plumber to check ou if it was same pipe or different one, left several messages, NO RESPONSE.She said she periodically called and left messages, but got no response. Finally made contact and he said he would be out on Thursday or Friday (May 21-22) but never showed, never called and does not return calls.
It is now May 28th and my disabled sister has been without hot water for over three weeks!!
Not sure if it the the "fixed" pipe that is leaking or not but I feel like we are out $95 which is minor compared to no hot walter for over 3 weeks.
"This response is with out much truth. Inflammatory& Embellished !! I repaired a leak That was repaired by and ex husband, which DID NOT Hold. It was a pvc repair fitting for 3/4 inch Galvanized Pipe...A Temporary Fix for galvanized. Did inform Homeowner of potential future leaks, as the Galvanized Pipe had seen its Day for usefulness. Other leaks were sure to come. Received a call on the 20th I Believe, informing me of another pipe burst, could I come? I Explained that I was booked up for the next few days with repipes and would NOT be able to help out this time. She said " There is a handy man in the park, I will call him to see if it was the same pipe or another leak." I am in Prescott she is in Peoria. I never received another call back. Then I get this review from the sister. With the circumstances presented, it had to be taken out on someone. This whole problem would go away if the sister would repipe her rental and not just try to repair, repair, repair. It is sad it has come to this. I feel for the renters situation, many in this situation are in a tight fix. It is a big expense to repipe a home. But unfortunately it is the only solution."
"This was a Residential Home and was a Kitchen Faucet not the sink."
We called around noon on a SUNDAY and had a new hot water heater completely installed in our mobile home in less than 7 hours -- and at normal, week day rates. We're very pleased.
"To help justify the time of 7 Hours. Was in Phoenix when I got the call. Helping a friend install a fence. Stopped in Dewey on return home, started draining the water heater while I went an got my service van and new water heater.Customer was very patient and thankful. 40 Gallon Manufactured Home Water Heater was Installed."
"This was a Water heater install with a complete repipe due to Polybutylene pipe in her newly purchased Manufactured Home. 30 Gallon Water Heater. Price was actually around 700.00+ w/ Expansion Tank."
"This was the Repipe for the customer with Water Heater Installed. The price given by homeowner was for a complete repipe and water heater install together."
"This was another Typical Defective Polybutylene Manufactured Home, Build in 1986. The 1/2" Pipe in the Kitchen cracked and split open and was leaking badly as the homeowner was trying to find a way to shut the water off for 2 Hours. She was in the process of Laminating her Floors thru-out the Home. It ruin most of the Laminate in the Kitchen and Partial Living room. Gave a bid to Repipe Home."
"This appointment was set up before the Labor day week-end to Change out Main whole house Filter, set up for Late Morning, as I had another appointment for Garbage Disposal change out . I was called at 10:30 by Home Owner who said she had been waiting since 9:00, reminded home owner appointment was for late Morning,I was already on my way, was there by 10:50. Homeowner was Grumpy on the Phone. Met, Discussed Price, Ran to Get Filter to fit Her particular System. Yes my oversight in putting back insulation in Parks Box. No was water left on to outside."
"I believe Homeowner added to many Zeros in the price. It was not as expensive as Homeowner Presented ! LoL"
"I Thank the Homeowner for the Confidence Expressed This was a Manufactured Home in Cave Creek area. Nothing more than a Typical Repipe, removing Defective Polybutylene Pipe, and installing new PEX Piping. My Company has been Repiping Manufactured & Mobile Homes since 1994. Both under the Class action suit (no longer available since 2005) and Now out of pocket. Please use a Licensed, Bonded, and Insured Contractor, you are Covered by the ROC (Registrar of Contractors). NON LICENSED YOU GO IT ALONE. We Will beat any Written, Licensed, Bonded and Insured Contractor Bid by 5% on any Complete Repipe of your Home."
Jerry repaired 3 leaks under our mobile home, and in the bathroom replaced the flex line and shut off to the toilet, and the fill valve.
Two of the leaks were replaced on his first visit. The 3rd leak (a new one) was revealed after he had gone -- likely my fault for not having the water turned on all the way. I called Jerry about the 3rd leak; he came back within the hour, fixed the new leak, and wouldn't accept payment for it, letting his original cost for the original repairs stand.
Jerry showed us pictures of the leaks before and after the repairs, and gave us the parts he had replaced.
Per our request we will be receiving an estimate on having the mobile repiped and all plumbing upgraded. We had factored in repiping when we purchased the mobile, and feel very fortunate to have met Jerry.
supposed to be used in my type of house.
Jerry was cheerful and answered all of my questions. The tank that was installed was about $500.00
less than the one suggested by an unnamed Rooter company. The labor charges also came out
about $300.00 less than the other estimate.
He completed the job very quickly and inspected other pipes and installed a shutoff valve on the hot water heater inlet line that was needed.
Showed me the broken parts that were replaced.
Informed me that the hot water heater pressure relief valve has a weak spring and will need to be replaced soon. Told me that I could pick one up at a hardware store and do it myself and save some money.
He was very helpful and professional in his service.
I would definitely recommend him to others.
