We met with a rep. from William Jackson and he discussed some ideas we had around the look and possibilities around a kitchen remodel.  A few days later he returned to discuss his plans and offered to meet at his showroom to demo their product and color choices.  We decided a remodel was not for us at this time, but the service was a valuable tool to determine possibilities and discover ideas.

They were lousy. The guy was very nice when he got here. As soon as he found out that we weren't going to do it for a couple of years. He said that he was going to go down to the warehouse and then he would email us some stuff, which he did. Then we were supposed to make an appointment to come to the warehouse to view some stuff and get itemized. We made the appointment and went down to the warehouse. They were late and they said that they can't do it. I would not recommend them. I wasn't serious about the quote. We just want an idea of what it would cost.

The gentleman was timely, nice and professional. I did not get quite what I wanted design wise and he made it clear my budget was not going to be enough. We just had different expectations so I went with another company.

Mike at William Jackson was very helpful with our kitchen remodel design, quoting, and scheduling. His recommendations included:

Building our cabinets to the ceiling (our previous cabinets had a dust-collecting space between the top of the cabinet and the ceiling).

Bringing the cabinet out over the refrigerator – we’re now able to actually access the cabinet above the refrigerator this way – with more storage.

Modifying our island since we didn’t use our island for seating, and instead modify it to accommodate an extra set of cabinets. My wife uses them for cook books and other general files.

Relocating the dishwasher to the other side of the sink to allow for better access to our cabinets when emptying the dishwasher.

Removing the unused desk area and replacing it with cabinets where the seating used to be.

Mike worked with us on the design and to upgrade the cabinets to the style we really wanted (Medallion) instead of the style we were originally planning on getting with a minimal impact to price.
The cabinet installer, Gavin, arrived on time and completed the job within 3 days (countertops were also templated during the cabinet install and then installed a few days after cabinet install completion). Bill then came out and completed the plumbing installs (dishwasher, faucets, etc.) and did some final finish work.

I wish we had taken pictures of our BEFORE standard “mid-90’s honey oak” cabinets to compare with our AFTER pictures. We put in a backsplash just after the cabinet and countertop installation. We are happy with how it turned out for us and didn't experience any major hitches or delays. We would recommend William Jackson based on our experience.

This is the seond time we have used William Jackson Inc. They also redid our kitchen cabinets a few year back.We contacted them and made appointment for consultation and estimate. Easy to work with and helpful with design and reality of what could be done.Time frame was realistic and we were kept informed on delivery and work dates.We were pleased with the appearance of final outcome.Small adjustments made in a timely fashion.

Mike measure and designed a kitchen, bathroom and bar, based upon the functions I requested. However, it had been a long time since I examined modern kitchen functions and Mike had some great ideas for me: a trash drawer, turntables in the corners on the bottom and diagonal facing cabinets above them, drawers inside hard to reach places. The design Mike gave me at our second meeting had a book case for my cookbooks, glass doors on two cabinets, staggered elevations on the top cabinets and pot drawers! Mike went through every item and explained finishes, glazes and wood. I went home with cabinet faces to put in my kitchen to live with for a few days. The cabinets came in on time and the work schedule they promised, they delivered. Bill arrived early every morning and worked all day quietly and without interruption. He was completely focused on just my kitchen and bathroom. In this time of techno-availability, Bill handled his business on his time and made certain my project was completed on time and on budget. Because Mike spent so much time on planning and educating me about my choices up front, there were no hitches or hidden costs. I recommend William Jackson Inc. for all your cabinetry needs

The process was very easy from the initial home consultation/measure to the design phase at the showroom. After a couple of meeting, we decided on what we wanted and signed their contract (which required a 50% deposit). The cabinetry took a little over a month to get in. William Jackson had contacted us approximately 2 weeks before the cabinetry was done to set up a time for delivery and installation. We had to pay the balance of the contract at the time of delivery. The installer was very friendly and knowledgeable and had the old cabinetry removed and the new ones installed in 2 days. The toughest part was waiting for a little over a week for the countertops to be fabricated and made everyday living a bit harder. The countertops were installed in approx. 4-5 hours. Since then we have been enjoying our new kitchen and bathrooms worry free.

Excellent ideas for ways to enlarge cabinetry and not look like "add on" -- plan, workmanship and price were all excellent. Beyond my highest expectations.
