DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVEN IF ITS FOR A WARRANTY!! This company is an absolute joke, I have no idea how they picked up a warranty contract but I’m glad they’re not the only option in the area. If you have an LG and they gave you an appt through this company call back and ask for the other option! LG also uses Tiger Mechanical in the area and they have glowing reviews. If you call LG and ask to switch they will otherwise you’ll end up wasting weeks with these people for no reason. The guy came out to fix a dishwasher. Was here for all of 10 minutes and did absolutely nothing. Then made an empty promise of ordering parts and setting up a new appointment, 8 days go by and we reach out to management just for them to tell us the order was closed with no issues cited. Also stating they couldn’t move our dishwasher without us signing a waiver, but this waiver was never mentioned. Also two of us were home at the time and could have easily moved the washer out ourselves if he hadn’t been too lazy to ask. Didn’t want to do any work and straight up lied to our faces. Management stopped responding when called out about these practices. Luckily when we called LG they immediately were aware of the problem and were quick to fix it. This place needs to be shut down!

So, the problem has not yet been fixed, even with two service calls, because of incomplete work both times.
When I contacted the company to get a tech to come back out and finish the job, the office girl said I would have to do another repair request through Lowe's. I asked if there was a manager or owner to whom I may speak. She said he was unavailable at the moment, but if I gave her my name and number, he would call me back. I have yet to hear from him...
The tech indicated that this company gets 100% of its business through extended warranty plans from places like Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.  That is easy to believe, because the quality of work was so poor that I could not see them being able to maintain repeat customers.
This is a company I would mention to stay away from if you call for any extended warranty work on anything electronic. They are "jacks of all trades" and masters of none! Save yourself the nightmare and stay away from these guys!

The tech was professional, courteous, and gave good advice. The problem is that the dryer's malfunction (did not retain heat and dry clothes) was not fixed, as evidenced by our attempt to do laundry the following day. We kept getting emails indicating that the part was ordered by the company and subsequently received, but the tech never mentioned a part being needed (I surmised that what they did was use a part in stock and use the service call to order a replacement part to keep on the shelf for future calls).
Given a choice, I would not use this company again. While the tech was courteous and professional, the bottom line is that we still had to take wet clothes out of the dryer the next day and go to the local laundromat 15 minutes away from the house and sit there while the laundry dried...

I was provided this company through my Lowe's warrenty. They never showed up. I double checked with Lowe's and there was an appointment made with them. Lowe's gave me another company which only has someone available a week later. I decided to wait the week than deal with Universal TV Techs. Universal TV Techs also had a lot of available time slots which tells me no one is using them unless forced to.

I was told someone would come out on Saturday, two days after my initial call.  Late Friday, I received a call from the company saying that they "don't work Saturday" and the earliest they could be out was Wednesday.  Okay, I thought, not the end of the world.  I can make do without a dryer for a few days.

The tech arrived, put on a new thermal fuse but, apparently, did not confirm this was the only thing wrong.  I was able to do 3 loads of laundry before the dryer went out again.  I called the company back on the following Tuesday and was scheduled for Friday 2/17.  I let the scheduler know that this was wreaking havoc in my home - having two young boys who go through lots of clothes, it's difficult to keep up with work, school, laundry and life.  I asked to be put on a priority waiting list if anything was available sooner.

Friday arrives and at 3:00 I still had not heard from the tech so I call the office. I am informed that the tech would not be coming - a part needed to be ordered.  Of course, the time to order that part would have been Tuesday when I placed the call!  Finally, on Thursday 2/23, a full 3 weeks after my original call, the tech arrives part in hand.  Unfortunately, it's the WRONG part and another part would need to be ordered.  It could take up to 10 days, he says.    At this point, I offered by note and phone messages to pay overnight shipping.  I'm weary of drying my clothes on the pool fence.

After daily calls this week, the part is supposed to be here and to me today between 11 and 3 p.m.  A call at 2 finds the tech still 2 calls ahead of me.   I've had to juggle more than a few business appointments and now the tech says he'll 'help me out' by coming to me next.  Helping me out would have been a phone call earlier telling me of the delay.

It's maddening.  I only hope this is the right part and person to install...seeing as it's the same tech no misdiagnosed the original problem.
