The Paint Kings

My wife and I hired Paint Kings based on the recommendation of our realtor. For $3000 I expected a professional job but what we got was less professional than I could have done myself. After the first day we inspected the work performed and found many locations where they got paint on the ceiling and where they cut in around the door frames was sloppy. They had left empty drink cans and bottles on the floor in the bedrooms. I noticed they didn’t even remove the towel bars in the bathroom but simply taped around them. It took me longer to take the tape off than to actually remove the towel bar myself. And they used plain masking tape instead of painter’s tape. That might be ok in some locations but not when taping over door frames that were not to be painted. I called the gentleman who did the estimate and he came out the next morning. After that we thought the work was being done more carefully. After they finished on the third day we walked around the house and still had to point out several spots that needed attention. They had to repaint the top of the pony wall because of spots where they had set their drinks. Several spots where they paint had dripped down on the baseboards. Paint on electrical outlets and wall switch rockers. We found several locations where there was paint on the floor. Thank goodness we don’t have carpeting. In the bathroom we found paint had dripped onto the vanity. As we continue to look around we have found even more locations where paint is missing from where they cut in around baseboards and door frames. We should have taken more time to inspect on the last day but they had been here for almost 12 hours and we just wanted to get the house back in order and call it a day. If I were to pick one word to describe the job Paint Kings did it would be sloppy. I would not recommend them to my neighbors or friends.

Paint Kings did an excellent job on the interior and exterior of this 1950s ranch-style house, they did not leave any mess, and the painters were very pleasant to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the job. We've used Paint Kings in Tucson as well, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a job well done at an excellent price.
