THE FLOOR DEPOT

Because Floor Depot does no advertising, they're easy to miss. But I was so glad that I found them! I had visited several big box stores, and couldn't find anything I liked. ( It seems that oak is very trendy now, but I really wanted a maple look for my house.) Unlike a place like Home Depot which only displays the most current styles, Floor Depot displays the whole product line. I was able to find the maple color I wanted in everything from engineered hardwood to vinyl. The salesperson (also the owner) spoke with me at length about the pros and cons of the various kinds of flooring. Because of his advice, I actually spent less money than I had intended. A big plus is that the store lets you take home very large samples (I took home four.) Actually placing the samples in my house gave me a really good idea of what my rooms would look like when the work was completed. The prices were fair, and I happy to talk to a very knowledgeable person who was able to save me a lot of money on my purchase. The owner also recommended an installer who was excellent. If you're looking for flooring, put this place at the top of your list.

We used Travis and his team a few years ago when we put down laminate flooring. We were extremely pleased with the entire process and results, so naturally, when we bought our new home, we wanted to use them again. When it came to picking out the vinyl and carpet, Travis and Nicole were super helpful and extremely patient (trust me, I went through a LOT of samples!). Their pricing can't be beat and everything was ordered and delivered in time for installation. They referred us to John Sullivan to install the flooring and he and his partner Tyson did an amazing job and seriously could not be nicer guys. I'm in LOVE with my new floors! They were on time and respectful of our home and time. Travisreferred us to Jon Rumniz for carpet installation and we were pleased with him and his team as well! They worked quickly and efficiently. Finding dependable guys is so hard these days, so we were extra appreciative at how smoothly and pleasant the entire process went. We can not recommend these guys enough!! Thank you!

Floor Depot made the selection process very easy. They have a huge variety. You are able to take home samples. The samples are large enough so you can get a good picture of how the flooring will look in your home. I shopped around and their prices could not be beat. The quality they have available is much higher than the big box stores. I will use them again for our next project.

I thought they had good quality carpets. They got it to me quickly and got it installed before Christmas like I wanted last year.

The selection process with Floor Depot was great. There was a delay in the order placement and delivery of our tile, but after that was resolved the installation was completed on-time and to our complete satisfaction. After two years, our tile is still looking as new as when it was installed.

Found the prices were less than anyone else I checked with. They let me take a wide variety of samples. Most places do not allow this unless you get the product from them. Its always better to see them in your house without any pressure.

He gave us a great price. Travis advised us on what to steer away from and what to go with. He provided the product in a timely manner and I would go back to him again in the future. Travis did a great job and performed above and beyond what we anticipated.

The Floor Depot has a great selection of flooring! I purchased wood laminate flooring for my great room and couldn't be happier. Reese was very helpful in guiding me in the right direction.

We decided to replace our 25 year old carpeting and replace it with hardwood flooring. We went to all the major flooring companies in the Ahwatukee/Tempe/Mesa/Chandler area. We received a wealth of information from these retailers, but much of the information seemed to be contradictory. It simply seemed as though sales personnel were telling us either what we wanted to hear or what they believed would garner them a sale. After several months of research and visiting local showrooms, I was talking to a friend regarding my experience when she said she has a friend that recently had hardwood installed in her home and would get me information on her friend's purchase and installation. It happened that this person purchased her floor from The Floor Depot and highly recommended that I call them to discuss my flooring needs. By this time in the process, I had a general idea of the hardwood I wanted. I talked to Travis and immediately felt he wasn't trying to sell me something, but actually wanted to make sure I chose the product that met my requirements and I would be happy with. Travis explained the pros and cons of the various species of wood I was interested in, and how they would perform in our dry desert environment. He also gave his opinion of the various hardwood companies. Once I decided on the exact hardwood floor I wanted, The Floor Depot's pricing was better than anywhere else. Travis actually gave me his price and suggested that I look around and see if I could find a better price, which I couldn't. My Armstrong hardwood flooring was not available in one lot in the quantity I needed, so Travis worked directly with the manufacturer to get my hardwood. His estimated delivery date was very accurate and his recommended installer was awesome.

Travis at Floor Depot worked great low prices on both carpet and Laminate for us. The estimate he gave us was exactly what we paid at the end. He set us up with his contractors, one to install carpet, the other to install laminate. They both were extremely easy to work with and professional. We received precall the day before to confirm, they showed up on time, they worked quick yet throughly, paying attention to detail, they cleaned up after themselves. I have nothing negative to say about out experience with Floor Depot. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking to put new flooring in. We just went back this last Saturday to order carpet for our rental home.

I spent about $1800 on that service. They did a good job on that work. The clean up and everything was fine and I had no problems with them.

We interacted directly with the owner Travis, and would highly recommend the service he provides. Very knowledgable and prompt to answer questions both by phone and/or email. He personally delivered the flooring to us from the warehouse, and even called a couple weeks after the delivery to see how our new floors were treating us. Had lots of helpful advice, and referred us to a couple other mom-and-pop installers who we ended up hiring to help us finish our floor install.

The price shown includes molding as well. I let Travis know that I needed to work within a budget. He knocked some off of the price to make it workable for me. He was very professional and knowledgable about his products. When I was ready to order, he ordered everything right away and I believe it was available the next day.
