The Cleaning Authority - East Valley

I had an empty home move out service "done" by the east valley cleaning authority team on 3/29. I was charged 918.00 dollars to end up spending my weekend actually cleaning the home as they said they did. I was quoted and explained all high traffic areas like door knobs and light switches would be cleaned, base boards, cabinets and drawers inside and out, blinds wiped and windows cleaned. They didn't complete the majority of the tasks promised like the cabinets and drawers, they did a poor job in the blinds and didn't even attempt to dust or clean my pantry or master closet. The light switches were left smudged and they swept debris from the home only my front door mat. To say i was shocked to see the mess they left undone was an understatement. I called the number on the website and spoke with customer service who advised they have a money back guarantee and to document the work done since having a team come back to resolve the issue was not an option as the keys were being turned over on Monday morning. corporate also let me know that the franchise was owned separately and that corporate was not in charge of their choices and to send them the images directly. So I did that on the local Facebook page via private message and an email address provided by corporate. I received no callback, had to call the local office multiple times and finally got a call back from a woman who empathized with my situation but needed to discuss financial resolution with leadership. I asked for a full refund since the only tasks completed were vacuuming and dusting the lights and wiping off counters. I finally received an email from the local branch owner Patrick Orr stating no financial refund would be provided. in this email he was condescending and rude saying my home had long term neglect and that's why his team was allowed to do a poor job. He also said I was unreasonable and he was disappointed in me for contacting their corporate office. I reached back out to corporate to discuss what next steps would be. I was told the owners above Patrick, Meagan or Ken would be contacting me directly to discuss this matter. No call came from them. This was by far the worst cleaning experience I have ever had. I am not a perfectionist and did not expect to walk into this house like it was brand new but I did expect the job I paid over 900.00 for to be done to the standards expressed in the consult. I would never recommend this company to anyone Unless you love wasting money and want to have to do the job yourself.

Gwen and Kevin were great. The house is sparkling. I feel I got my money's worth. They tackled even the most difficult chores like the blinds and baseboards. I am very pleased with the service the Cleaning Authority provides.

As usual, they arrived mid/late morning.  There were two women who split up and cleaned our 4 bedroom, 2-story home.  They always do a great job.  They bring their own supplied including vacuum, broom, clean rags, and cleaners.

We used them in Maryland and continue to use them here. They do a very good job.

I've been with them for 2 years. I've been happy with them in the past. However, in the past 2 months they've raised their prices and I believe that their quality of work has diminished so I'm switching to another cleaning company.

I would not recommend this company. I had a different crew each time. I found items broken or damaged. They spilled water on my hardwood floor and did not clean it up damaging the planks. They were indifferent about the problems. Quality gradually began to drop and I left their service.

Wow, what a relief. This is a company that gets it when it comes to cleaning a house! I must have interviewed 8 companies before I found these folks. They are reasonably priced and get the job DONE. 2 ladies arrived when I was told they would and spent about 4 hours on the initial clean (well worth the $166). They have 2 initial cleans before the bi-weekly regular rotations start. The routine cleans run $101 per visit on my house (prices fluctuate based on BD#, BA# & s/q). Although my husband and 2 little boys do a very good job destroying the house in the 13 days between visits, I get to come home to a clean house on a somewhat regular basis. For a mother that works full time, goes to school full time, & takes care of a 4yr, 7 month old, & 35 yr old (yes my husband is one of the kids too), this service is a life saver. Although I pay about $40 per visit more then my last cleaning company, the quality comparison is priceless.

We were told when we "signed up" that we would have the same cleaning crew each time so there would be some familiarity with our house. However, we only had the same crew twice. We were also told they would come about the same time of day each visit, however that never happened and we were always guessing when someone would show up. There were a couple of occasions that several things were missed and I let the office know of those items. They reassured me they would take care of it and yet the same items were missed again.

They cleaned my home four times. The first clean was very good but the cleanings got progressively less detailed. There was no consistency in the team or the cleaning. Overall, four items were broken, only one was brought to my attention, the others were ''found'' by one of my family members. We had very high expectations based on the sales pitch. They were responsive when I was unhappy with a clean and sent someone out the next day to finish what was missed - but this happened 2 out of 4 cleans. We no longer use the service because I can't count on the consistency of the cleaning.

THEY DID MISS A FEW THINGS DURING THE CLEANING. A LADY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY AND I WENT OVER THE MISSED ITEMS, AND SHE WAS TO SEND SOMEONE BACK OUT. SHE DIDN'T CALL ME BACK, AND WHEN I FINALLY GOT HER BACK ON THE PHONE, SHE SAID THEY WERE TOO BUSY, AND THAT THEY COULD ONLY GET TO IT ON MY NEXT REGULAR CLEANING. I DECIDED TO START USING ANOTHER COMPANY.

FOR THE PRICE AND SALES PITCH I DID NOT RECEIVE THE WORK I WAS QUOTED THAT I WOULD RECEIVE OVER A YEARS TIME. I WOULD CALL TO SPEAK TO THEM ABOUT DIFFERENT ITEMS AND SHE WOULD MAKE IT SOUND LIKE I WAS ASKING FOR HER TO DO SOMETHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY. THEY WOULD SEND SOMEONE OUT AGAIN THE NEXT DAY TO RECLEAN THE ITEMS. I FINALLY GAVE UP ON MY EXPECTATIONS, ACCEPTED IT AND CLEAN WHAT THEY DID NOT DO. THEN I FINALLY CANCELLED THEM. ALSO I WAS TO HAVE THE SAME CREW EACH TIME, BUT THAT WAS RARE. THEY MUST HAVE A HIGH TURN OVER RATE. WHEN THEY INITIALLY SPOKE TO ME THEY SAID THEIR TURN OVER RATE WAS LOW. THEY SAID THEY WOULD USE THE SAME CREW FOR THE HOUSE SO THEY WOULD KNOW WHAT AND HOW I LIKE IT TO BE CLEANED. HA!
