If you need window screens, retractable doors or window services, AVOID ScreenMobile if you can. Yesterday, ScreenMobile’s technician came to replace our regular screens with full window screens, and he broke our regular screen when removing it. When I went outside to get my 3 regular screens from him, he gave me 2, not 3. Then he lied and told me I was missing a screen and should go look around my house for it, which I did. Meanwhile he’d hid my broken screen beneath his truck where I couldn’t see it, but I found it later… I ended up talking later with Jeffery Ballantyne, the owner of the company. He was quite belittling, opening the whole call answering me that he’d not been able to review my case in detail because he’d been all day at a “BIG job”. He’d only been verbally cued in by his CSR. Then I shared with Jeff what happened, and he told me he talked to the tech three times today. The tech admitted lying. I told him how this cost me a large part of my workday, documenting what occurred so I could provide ScreenMobile with the details (even though I work from home and now have to work late to cover my lost time), how I was a bit shook about further interaction with the tech after I discovered he’d lied to me, etc. I mentioned that we, as customers, have the ability to provide a review online of our experience. Jeff’s response, “I feel like you’re threatening me. We are an honest company who cares about their customers. This should not have happened to you and I will be talking to him again about this.” I replied, “Not intending to threaten, it’s just a known element to business today that customers share feedback about their experience, to other customers online. We consider online reviews very valuable ourselves, and chose quite a few businesses solely by what we saw on Facebook and Google, for example.” Finally he begrudgingly said he’d give me 5% off my bill, but he was not happy about it. Our call ended. I was left sickened and at a loss. I have a close contact who is a successful business owner of a mid-size company in WA state. Here was his response when I reached out to him for feedback: “When his [Jeff’s] integrity is proven to be compromised, he should have done everything to make it right with you, and thanked you for the opportunity to make the necessary corrections in his company. A bad review is what he deserves if he is going to make you feel bad for exposing his problem. That is what bad reviews are for. Protect the next person from a dishonest company.” Conclusion: When the office called me for payment this morning, I kindly rejected the 5% off, and paid full price. Jeff Ballantyne completely missed the point. It’s not about the money. It’s about the service. And I STILL feel sick about how I was treated, BOTH by the technician, but even worse, by the owner of the company. Repairman did a first rate job. Couldn’t get the door out of the track, so he simply adjusted and replaced the screen in place- as opposed to forcing the door frame out or bending the door to get it out of the track. Everything went smoothly and the door looks and works great.

The first door had damage but the installed it anyway so that I wouldn’t be without a screen door while a new door was made for me. When they installed the new one it fit perfectly and I even get complements on it. Jeff is a great guy who goes the extra mile. I’m glad I used this company for the job.

I highly recommend them. When they come out to give you an estimate, they're professional. I didn't even have to be there for them to give me an estimate. They did a good job. They're also very professional.

On time. Service performed very fast. He did a screen sliding door and an arched screen for the front door. Amazingly fast. Good quality. I will have him back because the cats have already created pet doors in the new screens. Stupid cats.

Good overall - some difficulty in getting appointment due to crew scheduling confusion in their office. Be aware that windows with arches are counted as two windows - not one. Crew was professional, but not friendly and they are annoyed by questions. Workmanship was good.

My experience with them was very good. I had told them about what kind of screen I needed when I placed an order. They said that I had ordered something different than what I had on there when they got here. They didn’t really feel like I needed the one that I had ordered and so they installed a lesser priced screen. The screen was fixed well and everything seems fine.

Called Screenmobile told them what I needed. Appointment made for the very next day as well as given an estimate on the cost. The worker showed up time and went right to work. Work was completed within one half an hour and done very well. The worker was friendly and professional and the cost was within the estimate given to me. I am well satisfied with the work done and would recommend them to my friends and family if they needed the same type of work done.

The dispatch system was awful. Missed appointments, poor follow through, the works. The first time the tech came out he had the wrong materials, after that nothing went right. I asked for a discount for all of the time I spent waiting, my inconvenience etc, but was offered nothing.

The work was being done on an older home with older sliding doors so the person who did the work, Lucas Gibson, needed to really create each of these panels and these sliders to fit. He did an excellent job. He struggled with determining exactly how to put it all together because these doors were surrounded with stationary panels on each side. It all turned out very nicely - it took him a lot longer than he anticipated but he stayed with it and did a nice job. We ended up with what we were needing and the total job cost was $1505. I encourage those thinking of hiring ScreenMobile to request Lucas Gibson by name!

Troy came out to do the measurements. Troy was on time and he took measurements and told me that it will be custom made and ready in 8 days. Seven or eight days later he came and installed the door. The door fits perfectly and it is exactly what I wanted. The charge was below the estimate because there was a part that wasn't necessary. I plan to hire them after the holidays to make a screen door for my patio.
