No complaints with this company when it was foothills pest control. They have since transitioned (read; bought out) and now want you to sign a contract, an extremely overpriced contract. It was once a family friendly operation..I knew and trusted the techs and the friendly lady who was in charge of scheduling. Since the change I have gotten double billed.I also get harassing calls from a call center in the east. Such a shame. I don't understand how the angies list grade remains an A with many F reviews..They used to offer one time treatments and would come back out if needed (within the month) free. I NEVER needed them to come back out. They always did a great job (before they were bought out)

I don't want to sign a contract and have poison sprayed around my house EVERY month if I don't have to! So depressing! They just care about taking $$ they don't care about the integrity of the environment. So sad.

The gentleman that comes does an excellent job.  The previous people who did the work, we still had the bugs in the house; but not anymore.  He comes monthly and we get the bill.  He knocks on the door and calls us ahead.  He emails us another copy of the bill.  It is done automatically.  It is slick.  He does a great job.  He is unbelievably good.

My new home came with a termite treatment contract to address a pre-existing termite problem. As soon as that contract expired I called Schendel...I'm glad I did.. The salesman took one look at the number of repeat treatments from the previous company and said "I'd be embarrassed to have that many callbacks." They are far more knowledgeable than the previous company. They evaluated the problem and suggested a combination of baiting and spot treatment to fully protect my home. The tech is professional and prompt. the management and call center support are very easy to work with. I won't trust my home to anyone else.

They recently made some changes and we missed a period or two. But as soon as we called them they were right on it.

They offered a one time service via an Angie's List purchased service coupon. When they came out to do an evaluation it was more of a pitch to buy into a year's worth of service where they wanted the money up front. The guy who came to pitch the service went so far as to argue the wording of the purchase coupon with me in our home. He stepped out a few times to talk to his manager and without any change in their position. They did not want to honor my one-time purchased spray and it took repeated phone calls and a threat to report them to the Better Business Bureau for them to honor the purchased service. They ended up apologizing and providing the service blaming internal miscommunication and a recent company takeover on the fiasco. Bug guy - don't argue contract language with a contract manager!! Bug off!

I have been using their services for about a year. They are very accommodating with scheduling.

They do regular maintenance spraying, but they are excellent at termite treatment. They are very professional, do a good job, use quality products, and are very reliable.

They are always up to speed on what?s the best, and what is the top product in the industry. They have great follow up and great customer service.

Arizona Foothills Pest Control was very professional when I called to have them come and spray my home for pests (scorpions!! Eeek!).  I was unhappy with my previous pest control service and so was trying Arizona Foothills for the first time. 
I was able to schedule my first appointment within a week, and a smiling, professional pest control person visited my home and sprayed the house.  I typically ask them to replace the white sticky-box traps that are in the garage and get rid of pests that might be caught in the sticky boxes, and spray in the house and outside the house. Here is my overall synopsis:
Same Rep Each Time:  The same pest control person visits my home each month, and so I feel as if I get to know the person that's spraying my home.   I like this, and don't have to remember a new person's name each month.
Poor Billing:  I became extremely frustrated when I repeatedly requested that they keep my credit card on file and simply charge my credit card each month after my pest control rep visited me.  That way, I don't have to keep track of paper bills and I don't have to make calls every month to pay a bill.  Instead, they did not do this for 3 months.  Each month they would send me a "Past Due" notice after the rep had sprayed my house, and each month I would call them, give them my credit card again, and ask them to keep my credit card on file.  This went on for 3 months until I finally told them I would switch companies if they did not resolve this issue.  All of a sudden the credit card was magically saved in my file.  I was pretty annoyed, but things are fine now.
Good Service, Maybe Less Cost Effective:  I pay Arizona Foothills about $45 a month to spray my home, and I find I get about the same amount of scorpions in the garage and in the house that I had when I was paying a different company $70 every two months.  Maybe I should go to every two months with Arizona Foothills?  I have tried their service now for 9 months, so I may switch to every two months starting next year.  I typically see about 2 scorpions per YEAR in the house (not bad), and I see about 10 to 12 scorpions  caught in the sticky boxes in the garage total each year. No other crickets or bugs get into the house save for the teeny tiny black skinny ones that aren't harmful and stay only in corners of the house.  Plenty of dead crickets in the garage.

We purchased a new home and it was vacant for the service call. We met the technician there at the prescribed time and then left. We assume the inside and out was fully treated.

I have used Foothills for our regular pest control service and have always been very pleased with their service.

We just bought this house a few months ago and started noticing a lot of crickets, then saw one scorpion in the house. We had used Foothills Pest Control before with great success so we called and the scheduled us right away. They arrived on time, sprayed every inch outside and complete spray around the wall inside and the garage, set glue traps, and added foam insulation in gaps around the doors. Within a day we began seeing dead bugs, and within a few days we stopped seeing any bugs at all. We are very pleased with their service and would definitely use them again. They do offer monthly plans but do not push are hard sell. They simply come and do what they say they will do.

We had used Foothills Pest Control for over 1 year at our residence. Foothills had always been very thorough, punctual, and professional.  Schendel purchased Foothills, now changes are in order according to the new GM that visited our residence. The new GM and a trainee performed the routine scheduled service, but when the GM was asked to remove wasps nests from the side of the residence (a service provided by our regular tech) the response was "we don't have the equipment along for that". The impression was that the GM didn't really want to get too dirty, as he seemed to be more interested in sales than performing the service. The trainee sprayed around the yard a little, while the GM performed interior spraying. While inside the residence the GM spoke in detail of the changes that he intended to make to remedy the antiquated business practices of the old Foothills (if the old Foothills is wrong, I don't want to be right).  I thought running the newly acquired Foothills down in front of a customer was unprofessional.  We no longer have our routine pest control services performed by Schendel. 

I have used this company for over a year on a once a month basis.   I could not be more pleased with the results.

I signed a contract with them.  They were very thorough and very friendly.  They came on time.

They did a great job. It was really easy to schedule and appointment and they came out right away.

They are excellent. They are really nicely people. They do their things and we really did not have any problem.
