PRESTIQUE MOBILE CLOCK REPAIR

Preston was right on time (what would you expect from a clock guy?). He jumped right in diagnosing the problem. It turned out to be just a lack of service and some lubrication. But in talking to him, he really knows his field! And he was very pleasant to chat with, even while he was going over the internal movement. Much like a Doctor would do while giving you an exam. He was very careful while using his tiny tubes of lube oil, laying down his own towel. We will definitely have him back as he said "in a year or two". In the meantime, we get to enjoy the chiming of our clock!

Preston did a great job and will be called upon again whenever I need clock work done!

We used them twice.  We were very happy with his service.  He came to our house, took our clock and did some work on the clock as well as the clock mechanism itself.  He brought it back to our house and set it all up and we were very happy with his work.

After looking on Angie's list at several clock repair people, I narrowed it down to three and Angie's list gave such great reviews for Prestique mobile clock service so I decide to call them up. Had a very nice conversation on the phone was very surprised that they could come the next day to look at the clock. Their price was very reasonable, and preston called me to say he was coming earlier. We had had other professionals look at the clock before they did hardly nothing compared to Preston which took time to oil explain what he was doing and give me some lessons on how to keep the clock going and in good shape. He was very knowledgeable and really cared about my grand father clock and me as a customer. I would recommend him to anybody.

Wow! He restored my faith in not only the clock repair industry but in the customer service facet of business! He went above and beyond my expectations and gave me a beautiful gift by restoring my Grandmother's cuckoo clock with a wooden cuckoo bird at NO additional cost (my previous bird was removed by a dishonest clock repair business). He expressed beautiful craftsmanship and a high sense of integrity. I have been sharing with ALL my friends, if they need any type of clock work done, call him! My gratitude is boundless!

They were fairly easy to schedule, they came out within 2 weeks, took the clock back to their shop, and brought it back within a week, which I thought was a reasonable amount of time.

Called to make appointment for pickup and found out they were located very close to work. Arranged to drop off the clock during our lunch hour. They were extremely professional, listened to our description of the problem, asked a couple of questions and said they would be able to repair the clock. They asked to keep it for 3 weeks so they could make sure it was working correctly. We agreed to that. They called after 2 1/2 weeks to say it was ready to go home. We made arrangements to pick it up from their place of business during our lunch hour. They explained exactly what was broken, showing us the broken pieces. They also repaired the other 2 winding mechanisms which were showing signs of wear and straightened out the key which had bent from the force of the winding mechanism going haywire. They even reminded us to make sure and keep our clock upright on the way home. They were very knowledgeable about clocks and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

He arrived 15 minutes early and charged $5.00 less than my origin service man. A unique problem developed after he left and he returned when I called him several days later to correct the problem at no additional charge. I would call again for any future service.

Mr. Colao came to our house and examined the clock. He said that the chimes and the movement needed to be replaced. He took the clock with him and brought it back exactly when he said he would. The clock works perfectly. He even explained to me how to set the time and the pendulum. The chimes have not worked on this clock for years. The clock works wonderfully now.

THEY WERE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND TO OUR CALL. UNFORTUNATELY, IT HAD AN OBSOLETE PART THAT WASN'T READILY AVAILABLE, BUT THEY WERE STILL ABLE TO REPLACE IT WITH A NEWER CHIME MECHANISM AND IT NOW WORKS AS GOOD AS (MAYBE EVEN BETTER THAN) NEW. VERY NICE PEOPLE, TOO.
