Papa Bear's Plumbing LLC

I recieved a call from another air conditioning service today that stated Papa Bear is no longer performing service in the Phoenix area.  Papa Bear is still servicing Tucson.  The issue I have with this company is that they did not have the professionalism to let their customers that have maintenance contracts know about this.  I had to find out through a cold call from another service.  Supposedly the maintenance contracts were sold to another company.  I would not recommend this company as now I don't know if the new company will honor the contract that was made and paid for with Papa Bear.

Dan and his coworker were both very professional and courteous.  The only thing that went against them was the fact that I had a scheduled window that they busted.  Dan went over the maintenance and explained the advantages of it.  He was very knowledgeable and allowed me to view the entire process.  I have a background in electronics and nothing that I saw caused me to question his abilities or intentions.

The promotion was suppose to be for $39, but the gentleman that came out to look at it said that I needed a new 55 run capacitor. He charged me $250 for the new part, but said he would give me a discount that would bring it to $200. I called the appliance parts company in Phoenix, and they informed me that the part only cost $29. When I contacted Papa Bear on this issue, they said their employees figure up the price on those, and there was nothing they would do on the price. When I asked them if there reputation was worth $254, they said they just said that's the way it goes sometimes.
