Description of Work: We hired Brian as a general contractor and asked him to help us give our house a 'face-lift'. We have lived here for 30+ years. |We had thermal-paned windows installed, the interior of the house re-painted, the inside of a garage painted, a fireplace re-faced, and wiring put in so a chandelier could be installed in the front room. He also was able to re-wire the family room to hide some unsightly wiring. All interior doors were re-finished or replaced. We replaced a front door and had a security front door installed. |New door knobs and hinges were put in all interior and exterior doors. |Brian had some good ideas if we needed suggestions. |Brian was always on time and we were always able to communicate with him when needed. |He was very professional, yet also a pleasure to work with. |His sub-contractors were also top-notch. If there was ever an issue with sub-contractors, Brian always took care of it. |We thought he was very fair with his prices. |We would use Brian again without hesitation and would strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a general contractor. |

,There is the rare occasion that I wish there was an "A+" option on Angies list, Brian deserves it and then some. He knew exactly what I wanted before I even told him my whole "vision." I purchased a new home that was already built and wanted to do some remodeling. It's always a risk hiring any contractor, but I felt at ease with Brian immediately and his experience through the questions he asked me was clear. He had good thoughts to add or enhance what I wanted. He finished the work on a tight deadline, the work was nothing less than OUTSTANDING, the communication was excellent. Do not hire anyone else, hire Brian.
Description of Work: Brian remodeled a large room (added a wall, other wall additions), put in tile, lighting, ceiling fan outlets, doors, sealed garage floor, garage cabinets.

It went very well. Any issues that did arise Brian took care of immediately. They followed the directives of the building that I live in, worked within the hours they are allowed, and did a wonderful job. I would recommend Milo's contracting if you want a honest quote, good craftsmanship, and someone who will follow directives and HOA rules.

Great! Brian was responsive to our online inquiry. He was professional as he walked through our kitchen. He provided multiple options and quotes for renovations. He also gave a quote for replacing the windows. All quotes seemed very reasonable. We will most likely use Milo's when we do our renovation. Saving up now!
Description of Work: Assessed our kitchen needs and talked through multiple options and pricing.

It went very well. Brian was prompt and always kept me informed on the progress of the job. He often called me in to let me know options on electrical switch placement, duct location, etc. He was always very polite and pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing general contracting work.
Description of Work: Brian removed two walls to make a large master bedroom. Vents and electrical were moved. Exterior doors were replaced and repair was made to the stemwall. Fans and a doggie door was installed.

Brian conducted all the work in the bathroom. We had a company come in and pull out the large vanity and sinks, the non-usable linen closet, the shower and shower door and the two bathroom doors that were going to be replaced. These were taken out by Stardust who then re-uses the materials. Brian worked closely with the interior designer and double checked all the specs to make sure he was following the exact design. He would talk with the designer to make sure he understood exactly what she wanted or to make some adjustments to the design that work better. He was on time every morning, he coordinated all the work to ensure that the job ran smoothly, and kept me informed of his time at the house. If I had any questions, Brian would listen to my question and then answer it in terms I could understand as well as add an explanation of why the work was being done this way or that way. He is very knowlegable about every aspect of the construction process. This was my first construction job and I would hire Brian again in a heartbeat. And because this was such a good experience, I'm not shying away from more remodeling. I'm planning on remodeling the other bathroom, the powder room and the kitchen. Through Brian I have also found a great painter, who I will be using for other rooms in the house. On top of Brian's expertise, he's very professional, always friendly, easy to approach, and rolled with any changes or requests I made. You cannot go wrong using Milo's Construction for your projects. He's absolutely wonderful to deal with.
Description of Work: I was having the masterbath remodeled. It was dated from the early 90's when the house was first built. Although it was functional, it was worn and 'sad' looking

We did not select Brian for our project, because we felt like a design/build firm was better for our project. However, I really want to give Brian kudos for being a great guy and for being responsive and professional throughout the entire process. He came highly recommended from friends of ours who have used him, and we heard from some well known interior designers that his quality is second to none. We will absolutely consider Brian for future projects. Brian is a great guy.
Description of Work: We had Brian (owner) bid on a large full house remodel. He came highly recommended from friends, and he was extremely professional throughout the bid process. For our remodel, a "design/build" firm that integrated the architecture and build process made more sense because my wife and I were moving walls and had no idea what we wanted the final product to look like. However, both my realtor and I were really impressed with Brian. I would not hesitate to recommend to others to call Brian - as an owner who is also working on site, that promotes an obvious value advantage.

This was a bit of a tricky job considering that the top of the entertainment niche was actually the ceiling, and removing the two columns would be removing the support for the ceiling. This meant adding support for the ceiling. I asked several contractors to quote the job. Some did not like what they thought they would be up against, others didn't seem too confident. Brian quickly understood what I was wanting to accomplish and we quickly decided that there were three possible options which I asked him to quote. Within just a few days, Brian had provided the quote along with sketches to ensure we were both envisioning the same outcome. I decided on my original idea of retaining the arc and extending the arc to the other upper sections. The original arc was made with plywood, and extending this accurately without flat spots or obvious transition changes would be difficult without ripping out the complete upper section of the niche. Brian did run into a flat spot, but worked the area until the arc looked like it was originally had been done this way, with no visible transitions or flat spots. I really thought that Milo's Contracting were very professional. They were prompt, never late and most of all they completed the job withing their time and cost estimates. I would be happy to hire Brian and Milo's Contracting again.
Description of Work: This job was modifying a built in entertainment niche comprised of 6 square, recessed, sections, three above and three below. I wanted to have the two columns removed from the upper section to end up with one large square. The center of the upper section has an arc that I wanted to retain. This area is not load-bearing, merely 2x4s and drywall.
