Everything went as planned and I am very happy with the work that Jim and his team performed. The only charge that seemed a little high to me was the cost to remove a concrete slab ($2640.00) over the j-box and where the new conduit was going. That put them at the higher side on the estimates I got. But again, I would hire them again based on the quality of work that was done on the property. Pictures are: trench from the j-box to old house panel. The new house panel with the trench to the backyard. The trench across backyard for conduit and new interior sub panel in garage prior to framing.

Wow! Everyone from the first call! Called to get estimate. Preston came in timely manor. Received email with estimate. Called to schedule and they had a next day opening ! Ed and Chris arrived 7:30 am as expected! Very nice gentlemen! Very professional! We are more than happy with the service and at a reasonable price for all these items! We're keeping Dodge as a Favorite and will share our good experience with Dodge!

I would recommend this wonderful company to anyone needing electrical work done.  My father said that Mr. James Taylor personally came out to his home on very short notice, he spent 2.5 hours tracking down why half of the electricity was not working in his home and he fixed the problem for him. This company is very reasonable in price and helpful to those who are in need of top notch electrical work.

From the first phone call this was a good experience. When I called to make an appointment I was treated very well and respectfully (that first contact almost always foreshadows the working relationship, very true in this case.) Two electricians showed up as scheduled and immediately got to work.  They were very personable and pleasant to have around.  Whenever there was a question as to positioning of something, we were consulted, eliminating any chance that we'd be unhappy with a placement.  We know the 'additions' were more difficult due to the fact that there is no crawl-space in the house so the wiring had to be run around some obstacles.  In spite of that, they only cut ONE hole in the drywall and then even secured it very neatly back in place -- impressive!  AND they cleaned up the very minor inevitable mess that occurred during the job.
     Overall we are very pleased with the outcome and were very pleased with how and when the work was done. We'll definitely use Dodge for our future needs.

The service went well. The technician was on time, polite and courteous. He also said that they would wait a coupe days to send a bill so I could ensure all my lights were working correctly.

I'm in an old house and wanted some sconces installed. It was a very difficult job because it entailed an interior and exterior wall. The guys kept at it until they got it done and done perfectly. They were so careful in my house and kept me informed the entire time. I also had a chandilier installed and they made sure every crystal was perfect before they were done. The care they take is not common and they are so professional. I have a double hallway light that was backwords (I didn't even know) and the tech flipped it to make it right....Wow now that is service. When it comes to electrical Dodge is my only choice!

This is the second time I've used Dodge Electric and I have been very happy both times. They were very punctual and were within the time frame they had originally estimated. They even called to let me know they were 20 minutes away and would arrive within that time, and that happened as promised. The quality of work was excellent, with the installations being very clean and professional looking, and they cleaned up the work areas when finished. This time attic work was required and they made sure to wipe away fingerprints that had accidentally left on the access door; once done I could not tell they even used the access. Their prices were very fair on this job, just like they were the first time I used them. I would highly recommend them.

It went very well. They were polite and on time. They cleaned up when they were done.

I woke up in the morning and saw a small leak coming from my overhead lights that are in the kitchen. These lights are flourescent, so I believed that it would be best to have an electrician take it down in case leak was from the actual flourescent light ballast (If old...they could have PCBs). I turned off the water and brought in my own ladder for electrician. He came in and I helped take down light with him. Leak was obviously not from lamp. He left and sent me bill for $95 for possibly 5-10 min of work that I helped with. I believe that this is extraordinarily overpriced and strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I had Dodge Electric install a light on a vaulted ceiling, install a new recessed light in the kitchen and install a new circuit and indoor outlet in July 2008. With exception of the new circuit and outlet, the work was done timely and was OK. The hole for the outlet was about an inch too large in all directions-- even after using an oversized cover, I still had to use a bunch of caulk and paint to make it look half-way acceptable. They failed to clean up after themselves and left pieces of wire, drywall and insulation behind... When they called afterwards to check on the job, I explained the problems and they apologized and offered me a discount on my next job....I called Dodge again in Dec 2009 for an estimate to install an outlet in the living room floor before I installed new carpet. The Dodge worker came up to my house and said he would have to subcontract the concrete cutting since they don't do that, I said that's fine. He said he would contact someone about the concrete cuttting and email me an estimate in (2) days--- I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM..EVER. In Sept 2010, we got (4) estimates to have a breaker installed, service ran to the back yard and a spa panel installed for a new hot tub. My wife called Dodge and they met with her while I was at work, the employee told my wife that with the repeat customer discount we would be getting that no one would be able to beat their estimate-- their estimate was literally $900- $1,200 MORE than everyone else's, 2 of which came from Angie's List Award winners--- White Bros. and TAP and Sons. Needless to say, we didn't use Dodge for this last job.

The service was excellent. He was nice friendly and very knowledgeable. He fixed the dimmer and even went to home depot to get the new dimmer switch for us.

I needed someone in a hurry since there was a great fire danger. I called Dodge Electric and explained the situation. The owner said he would send someone over at a at 1:00. The electrician, Roger, arrived right exactly on time!!! He was very courteous and professional and started right in examining the situation. Apparently someone had "mis-wired" the outside 220V pump to the indoor 110V line ... which resulted in the blow out and fire. It was a very complicated situation ... and Roger called the owner and explained the whole thing .... and then the owner showed up! Together they were able to figure out a solution to the problem. Owner left, Roger finished rewiring outside and then fixed my indoor socket too. I was very very pleased with this incredible service and very fair price! These guys are great ... I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. If you want really professional, honest and seriously dependable electricians ... these are your guys!!! Judi King Chandler

I recently bought a bank owned property that needed to be completely rewired. We shopped the job out to multiple companies, but decided to use Dodge based on their follow-through, clear communication and expertise. I am a very hands-on homeowner and stay involved in every aspect of my home based projects. In this case I performed some of the electrical repair work in addition to the work performed by Dodge's electricians. Dodge answered all my questions, were very informative when they came across issues and gave me educated advice on my options. I truly felt like they listened to my requests, and gave me a quality of customer service and repair work that I really appreciated. I would not only recommend them to others, but I will use them again in the future for all my electrical needs.

Mr. Preston Dodge arrived on time, was courteous and knowledgeable and clearly explained the wiring problem to me before beginning the work. He also explained it after it was finished. He was diligent and the work was completed in a timely fashion. I would feel confident contacting this company for future electrical repair or wiring projects. The price was reasonable. Mr. Dodge is a credit to his profession and I highly recommend this company.

I was very satisfied with them; they actually came out twice. The first time they came out, they did a thorough investigation on what the problem was and that is when they found out that it was a burned up wire. They gave me a quote and told me that they would have to come back and fix it. They arrived on the scheduled time the next day and fixed the problem. The technician informed me of everything and how things were progressing.

Things didn't go as planned. I've got a flat roof house and the crawl space wasn't adequate to work in. So they said they could cut holes in the wall and ceiling and run the wire, but I would have to get a dry-waller to repair the holes. They could see I wasn't to happy with this, but I really want to work from home, so I said o.k.. I'm sorry I didn't write down the names of the two guys, because they were very helpful. Anyway 1 of them asked if I could run 2 modems off 1 line. I called the phone co, no. Then he asked if I could set up my company computer as a wireless connection, no. Then he asked if I could turn my desktop to wireless and use the modem on the work computer? Brilliant! I called maker of my computer and yes that was easy. So they installed the phone line, on an outside wall just where I wanted it. This took 3 hrs, from start to finish, and then they wouldn't take money until the cost was recalculated. It cost me $92.00 after they gave me a 20% discount. I'm very pleased.
