On Time and detailed workmanship

After speaking with the salesperson, Grant, I agreed to hire his insulation services. We scheduled a date and time for installation. That day I called to ask what form of payment they wanted. I was expecting them to arrive later that day. When they did not call or arrive at the scheduled time I called and found that I was not on the schedule. I would have expected that my call in the morning about payment would have triggered something to help them remember my appointment but it did not.
Once Grant found what had happened and finally returned my call to apologize and set up a new appointment. He was able to schedule it shortly after. They offered a small discount off the price due to the situation. I accepted.
The installers arrived on time, as scheduled. They were efficient, clean and very good. I appreciate their hard work.
In the end I am pleased with the work and the price. They made it right.
I wish that this could have happened the first time around.

Unfortunately, it smelled like insulation in some of the rooms but after 2 days the smell was gone. I had some leaks to investigate but with some caulking I took care of that. As for the efficiency, even with the increasing 105+ temps, the A/C unit runs less and I keep the house a degree lower now. The home keeps cool longer than before so it's much more comfortable. I could have probably negotiated a lower price but I am still happy with the results.

Banker arrived on time, brought a large hose through our bedroom slider door and into the attic access in our walk-in closet. They added about 12 inches of additional insulation, removed the hose, cleaned up after themselves and left.

It is too soon to tell how much it will impact our utility bills in the long term, however, the home seems to maintain its temp better.

We highly recommended Bankers and we would use them again.

The work turned out very nicely. They came on time. They told me what they were going to do and they did the whole attic. They could not get through it and I just paid for what they did. They were pretty punctual and they got out quickly. I would use their services again in the future.

Since I bought the house my summer electric bills had been ridiculous, I had a pressure test previously and some leaks were fixed, they mentioned that I probably only had a 6 or 8 insulation rating in the attic and it should be closer to 35+ Called baker Estimator came out and took a look and presented me with a couple of different options. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Crew came out on time, were very polite, did a great job. Between this and the pressure test my electric bill was litterally cut in half from the summer of 2010 to the summer of 2011

It went well. They were in and out very quick. The only thing I am not sure is that if I am getting the exact thickness or R value at the end. It would be nice if they can show me some sort of measurement, before and after. I have no reason the believe that they did not give me enough insualtion either.

We recently moved into a 1930s house and the inspection suggested re-insulating the attic. The experience with Banker Insulation was professional from start to finish. They were prompt, professional and did a great job of tidying up after. No complaints at all!

Banker came out to check out the project and gave me an estimate within one business day. The crew arrived on schedule but had some issues with access to the crawlspace. They performed the garage work but would not do the crawlspace. Several supervisors came by to check it out, and I phoned the office. Banker devised a plan to come back with a new crew the following day (a Saturday) so that I did not have to take another day off of work. They came the following day and did the work without further problems.
