AAA ALL STATE GARAGE DOOR

Time spent on job was about 2 hours and we paid whatever he charged as he did not give an estimate.

THE TECHNICIAN CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED THE CENTRAL PROBLEM AS A SPRING ADJUSTMENT, WHICH CAUSED THE MOTOR AND GEAR ASSEMBLY TO FAIL, BUT RATHER THAN LOOKING TO SEE WHICH PART HAD FAILED, HE MADE A GUESS (COUPLING) WHICH PROVED TO BE WRONG. THE DRIVE BELT HAD FAILED.

Called several garage door companies & none could come out for at least 5 days. This company was able to come out the next day. A rep from AAA Allstate Garage Door arrived, it appeared they subcontract the work to them. They came as scheduled & ordered a garage door and opener to be installed a week later. They waived the service call & gave a cut on the garage door opener. They came a week later & said the garage door would not fit, the upper tracks would hit a wall running parallel, the wall had to be notched or moved to make it fit. No argument could make them install the door. I proceeded to cut a slot in the wall & they came the next week to install it. Now 3 weeks into this ordeal, they showed up 4 hours late. They installed the garage door and proceeded to cut out more drywall to put in the hanger for the track also. I went back and moved the track and brace over 3 inches, patched, retextured, and repainted my wall. It never needed to be cut to make the garage door work.

THE MAN THAT CAME TO OUR HOME CAME VERY QUICKLY. WE COULD NOT GET OUR GARAGE DOOR UP OR DOWN & NEEDED TO GET OUR CAR OUT. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO CHECK THE DOOR TO SEE THAT ALL OTHER PARTS WERE IN WORKING ORDER.
