I was informed that I would not be getting the deal price and asked if I still wanted items hauled away. I agreed to the price for convenience . I would not use provider again as I had listed items to be removed before I set up the appointment and was not told of a price increase and would not have agreed to an increase
Owner offered a refund for the unexpected overcharge.

Well, after waiting for over a week to take delivery of new furniture so I could donate the old furniture to the Salvation Army.....the Salvation Army came and said my furniture had too many spots for them to take. I had taken off a day of work, had two sets of furniture sitting in the middle of my family room, and the day was almost over. I went online and did an online request and they arrived within two hours, gave me a discount for booking online and instantly became my heroes!!! I would definitely use them again. They were so nice and accommodating, I can't say enough good things about them. I called the office before their arrival and she gladly explained the pricing schedule which they adhered to when they gave me their onsite quote. They also give you a courtesy call when they're about 30 minutes away.
It was an amazing end to a frustrating day. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

from this company. My story: I was shocked to discover a 5-day eviction
notice on my front door; I had not received the required 48-hour notice
to inspect the premises. I don't blame them for threatening to kick me out, though--my apartment was
starting to look like some I had seen on the Aand E TV show
and quot;HOARDERS.and quot; During the past couple years I've had several health
problems that severely restricted my mobility for a time and the clutter
morphed into a monster. When I finally got back on my feet, the whole
thing was so overwhelming, I couldn't even find a place to start. I
found RUBBISH WORKS on the internet and gave them a call. My
questions were politely and professionally answered, and I was even told
that I would save $20 if I booked them on the 'net, which I did. My
team consisted of Todd and Justin, who arrived that very afternoon
with a truck and lots of huge garbage bags, and were neatly dressed in
the company and quot;uniformand quot;. They were professional, friendly, and completely
non-judgmental. They assessed the situation, gave me a quote, (final
price was actually a bit LOWER) and got to work. Two hours later, I
felt like I had gotten my life back! They would accept only a very
modest tip--at my insistence they accept something--and they certainly deserved a HUGE one. And the cherry on
top? A hand-written thank-you note from the company's owners, along with
a Starbuck's gift card! Absolutely 5-stars all the way around and a real class act.

Eventually, I thought of calling Rubbish Works, which I did last Friday. This wasn't a usual request, so the owner, Rita Brady, called to discuss it with me. She decided her crew could do this, but she needed some idea of how much dirt we were talking about so that she could quote me a price. I went to the nursery, and the folks there recommended half a cubic yard. I called Rita back, and we agreed on this morning (Wednesday) for the delivery. She called Baker's Nursery to be sure everything would work out as I had hoped, then called me back with a cost - $200 for the labor, $5 for the dirt. She e-mailed me with a schedule (between 10 and 12) also.
The fellows came on schedule this morning, calling me around 10:30 to let me know they'd be here in a few minutes. They were clean (why wear khakis and a polo for this kind of work??, but they did and they looked neat), pleasant and professional. They didn't complain about having to lift the wheelbarrow over a short garden wall, and they were done before noon. My husband was tickled pink, and has gone outside a couple of times to be sure he really does have a cache of and quot;spare dirtand quot; -- it really is a big deal to him.
So, I highly recommend Rubbish Works. They are both flexible and professional. I thought the price was very reasonable for a truck and two men doing fairly hard physical labor for two hours.
