RENAISSANCE EXTERIOR DEVELOPMENT INC

Overall our experience was much less than expected given their bid was higher than others but we were sold on supposedly "much better quality and service". Some of our issues: The work was completed several months after the owner "Steve" indicated it would be done. The plants used were of poor quality and since we only received a 3 month warranty, we spent a considerable amount of money replacing many of them. The irrigation system had various problems after installation, which they tried to blame on us. Their method for using drip lines causes clogging and on-going problems. The man-made wash they built to divert water only works in small storms and was a complete waste. The lighting system photocell never worked and they never fixed it. We added an extra section of sod to existing grass. The sod they planted is a different variety of grass and looks very bad. The concrete border they subcontracted is of very poor quality and splotchy in color.

I WAS TOTALLY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND THE LEVEL OF RESPECT THE WORKERS GAVE MY FAMILY DURING A TIME OF DISRUPTION. THE WORK FORCE WAS POLITE, PUNCTUAL AND ATTENTIVE TO DETAIL AND MY NEEDS AS A HOMEOWNER. THE FOREMAN ON THE JOB WAS BILINGUAL AND EVEN CAME TO MY HOME DURING OUR EXTENDED VACATION FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER. THE FIRM IS A CRADLE TO GRAVE OUTFIT THAT WORKS WITH THE HOMEOWNER FROM DESIGN PHASE TO COMPLETION.
