He did not fix the problem. He continued to recommend changing expensive hardware and labor ($150/hour). We found, without his help, that there was an additional filter on the bottom of the pond that needed to be cleaned. He said that he serviced this pond( before we purchased the house) for years. It was unbelievable that he didn't simply clean this filter that took us minutes to do. He ripped us off. Even the fish food he tried to sell us was over priced. He was extremely arrogant and difficult to deal with. We fired him.

Excellent as always. Rob Lang is the owner and is extremely knowledgeable about Koi and their habitats here in AZ. He performed the service and showed me how to do it myself if I was so inclined. Our 3,000 gal pond was built by Rob in 2010. Our fish thrive. Every visitor is impressed by its beauty and the fish.

The UV filter did very little to nothing as the pond was like pea soup most of last summer. Later, by researching online, I found that most people use a liquid algae fighter to control algae. It has done a terrific job and costs a lot less than the equipment they installed.

It took Rob and his associate, Owen, about 2 hours to replace a 700 lb. rock that was the base of my waterfall. I simply couldn't watch. Not only are my ponds near and dear to my heart, I was worried the guys would get hurt. Using levers, they managed to get the beast back in place and rebuild the falls in beautiful precision.

After obtaining several bids and reading internet reviews, we opted to see what Rob Lang, the owner of Pond Perfector could do. He took us to some of his customers' homes to look at his work and get pond ideas. We had a fixed budget being new homeowners. He submitted two designs and proposals to meet our budget and accommodate 11 Koi. We had many, many questions that consumed a couple weeks of his time. He was always prompt in returning our cllas or stopping by our home after work. We made our selection and committed to a contract with 50% down; the balance due upon the completion and approval by us. Rob's crew arrived at the agreed upon week and began their excavation, removing materials followed by bringing in pond equipment. The work took approximately 3+ weeks. The end was a very sophisticated filtration system to keep algae at a minimum using UV and a large above ground filter. My concerns were noise, appearance, enough room for our fish, and maintenance. Rob addressed all those prior to the build and I am happy to report, that upon completion and some months later - everything worked as we had hoped for. Everything worked as we wanted. We got our money's worth. His design was very admirable given the space and 3,000 gallons. We receive lots of compliments on it. We strongly recommend this company.

They recommended the installation of a UV sterilizer. They came back and installed a UV sterilizer. I spent $1140. I did not really like it. The cost seemed high to me but I am uncertain of that. I am a new pond owner and it did not solve the problem. There are several algae now that it is summer. I am spending more money trying to solve the problem by having an awning put over the pond so that the sun's rays do not fall on it. It was like they did not provide complete information. The first time he came in I was surprised at the size of the bill that he charged me for his time. I had to place an order for the part and he gave me the most expensive one. The quality of the part and his work was good. He was responsive. I will not use them again if I can help it.

I think the pond turned out beautifully. They come out to do routine maintenance every two weeks, checking the chemicals and insuring that the filter is working properly. They are very efficient.
