Pete is supremely focused on quality work, as are all of his guys! We had a few occasions when subs began some work, Pete's team noticed some issues, and the subs had to re-do the work based upon the standards Pete required. We loved that! Pete and Handyman Contractor has a "forever" client in us!

They did a great job with repairing the numerous broken roof tiles and find/repairing the small leak on the roof - there was no leaking throughout this wet monsoon season. They also re-aligned the front door so that it would close better and ordered and installed a new thermal pane window over the living room. Pete was always there when we scheduled the work which was important as I was out of town on-and-off during the repairs.

Everything went well as noted above.

Will have them back to replace the spigots and to do any other plumbing needs

I feel that I paid more than I should have. He was pretty good and the work was done well. However, it was $60/hour, which I thought was a little excessive. They were professional though and very responsive.

Our tile shower seat was installed incorrectly and had to be removed (it was taking on water and the wall behind was starting to mold). I received two quotes from full-service bathroom remodeling companies - the price was astronomical and they were out 4-6 weeks. I contacted Pete, and within a few days I had a solution that worked at a very reasonable price. Pete's tile specialist carefully removed all of the old wall surfaces and replaced everything with cement board. The seat was fully replaced, and he carefully took into consideration techniques for proper drainage and sealing. The new seat looks great, and the job was fully completed within a week!

I had a slab leak under my kitchen cabinets and the people the insurance company sent out to fix the leak informed me they weren't paid to put the kitchen back together after they repaired the leak. So there I was with all my cabinets out on the patio, no sink, no counters, and no way to use my kitchen. I called Handyman Contractors (Pete Bores) and asked him to help me get my kitchen back together. He has done several other handyman and remodeler jobs for me in the past. As always, he was prompt. They arrived here a few minutes early for the appointment. He and his team got right to work. They assessed the situation, talked for a minute or two and just started putting the pieces back together like a giant puzzle. I like that Pete and his helpers are very polite and conscientious, and they clean up as they go along. I expected the job to take several hours longer than it did, but they got right in there, knew what they were doing and put it all back together, working perfectly like it had never been torn apart. It was a huge relief. They also charged me less than another contractor was going to charge for the job. I have always been happy with this contractor. They are professionals, and in Phoenix, that is hard to find. Highly recommend.

It was fantastic. The owner was just terrific. Good communication and they were here on time. They worked efficiently. The work was well done and they were pleasant. I couldn't be happier with them. I would consider using them again.
