In 1980, Robbie Goodroad began her business designing innovative landscapes in North Scottsdale, setting out with the goal to provide expert knowledge and superior service to clients. Since then her business has grown to not only provide top quality design, but also installation, maintenance, and much more for residents in the Cave Creek and Carefree areas as well. Her business continues to thrive today with the same dedication to those principles.

Our crew members worked very hard to complete all of the additional tasks you requested at the time of your service. This is also why we must give a 2-hour window for our arrival, in order to accommodate any last-minute requests that may occur with each client. We bill hourly and are only able to estimate what your service bill would be based on the extent of work discussed at our initial appointment. When your husband called about your bill, we were able to go into detail about what was done, according to our notes. We hope to answer all questions to our clients satisfaction, so we hope you will call us so that we may better clarify. The maintenance agreement you were given reflected that you selected to pay to have us haul away our debris versus using your own trash service. Again, we value your feedback, and have passed this review along to our crew and office staff, so that we may work to improve our service."

Owner Robbie Goodroad was present every step of the way, actually picking up a shovel and "digging in", providing innovative suggestions, directing her crew, which by the way, was very professional, personable, and diligent. Worked as a team. Overall, the Goodroad team made dramatic improvements in our property's appearance. We couldn't have been more impressed and pleased.

We have contracted with this designer to build a pergola, rebuild a firepit. install new sconces, build and install a fence and gate at our main entrance door to create shaded, quiet space at the front of our home, looking out of the new saquaro tableau in the front yard. We are waiting approval from our HOA--- complete plans drawn, forms submitted and necessary communication all provided by this landscaping firm. I will describe the completion of this project in a future Angie's List post. I fully expect it was be beautiful and blend perfectly into our enhanced landscape.
Robbie Goodroad the owner/designer, her daughter Sarah, son Adam and talented work crew are to be praised for the amazing, professional work they do. They have my admiration and highest recommentation. And the cherry on the cake is that they are so fun and easy to work with!
I contracted Goodroad for monthly maintenance service. When the first service happened the quality was just okay but they were on time and professional. When I received my first bill I was surprised to see that I was charged $29 for the removal of a very small amount of grass and yard trimmings. The contract clearly stated that all yard waist would be put in my garbage can if there was room and no fee would be charged. The can was pretty much empty at that time as my weekly pickup had just happen two days prior. I let it go and didn't say anything, chalking it to a mistake and I would see how things went going forward. Two weeks later my grass sprinklers started to leak. I performed a quick diagnostics and realized that one of my valves needed a new bonnet (a $13 part). I didn't have time to do the work myself so I called Goodroad. One of their guys showed up that same day and was here for less than 20 min and they charged me a whopping $187.00 for what I believe was at best a $50.00 job including labor. In my opinion this companies rates are way out of line and it seems clear to me that they don't look at the long term picture in a business relationship. I have cancelled my service contract and will seek service with another company.

We quoted you the price of the valve replacement prior to installation. Since you approved the price and allowed us to complete the work, it seems unfair that you would give us a negative review, instead of just declining the service. We value your business.
