Sara Monahan owner of Design Emporium has been doing an astounding project for 30 years since 1980 executing home designs to create a client's desired environment. Sara puts passion on her work she provides an incomparable and elegant output. She serves around Carefree, Cave Creek, Scottsdale, Glendale, and most of the surrounding areas. Services offered are Interior Design: Consultation, Paint Selection, Wallpaper, Interior Window Treatments(excluding shutters), Upholstery, Home Staging, Furniture Placement, Bedding, and Pillows. Not Offered: Furniture, Flooring, Shutters, Repairs, Installation Only, Bath or Kitchen Design, Lighting, Accesories, Wall hangings, Landscape Design, Sales or Installation of Artwork, Remodeling, Motorization.

"I first saw you on 8/6/14 for a design consultation to discuss items that you emailed me you wanted to concentrate on. We discussed window treatments for the breakfast nook and the living room. I went back 8/12/14 with fabric samples. At the time I thought you liked the fabrics and styles we picked. I then sent you prices on 8/20/14 but did not get a response. In the guest room the draperies that you already had were too short to use properly, but I offered some suggestions on how to work with them. You had decided not to work on the Master Bedroom at that time. I wish you had not waited almost a year to send in this review, so that I could have met with you again to discuss changes. Sometimes the first time around doesn't solve all the problems. I would have been happy to discuss your concerns and work with you to modify things. But by not letting me know you weren't happy with the selections obviously you didn't give me another chance. I can not remember all the rest of the details because when I got your review, it was almost one year later. I'm sorry I didn't meet your expectations, but you never let me know that. "When we first spoke, you and I agreed that all time spent would be at my normal hourly rate. I thought that my hourly rate was listed in the Storefront Deal for any hours over 2. You did not ask me what my hourly rate was, so I assumed you knew. I did not stop YOU from ordering blinds from Home Depot, I merely said that I MYSELF would not buy them there. You had me going everywhere, measuring your refrigerator opening, getting paint samples for your painter, meeting with your painter to tell him where each color went, and on and on and on. You would not let me be at the installation of the blinds that you bought from me,( that no one FORCED you to buy) which is my standard procedure. Then you paid me with a check that was so messed up that the officer at my bank refused to cash it. You also did not pay me for the total amount of the hours I worked for you, shorting me $800.00.
