I was in the process of relocating for work, which was a move across the country. Michelle took the time to understand my needs, style, and budget. From the moment we met, I knew I was in fabulous hands! She made the experience seamless, handling every possible detail...down to having my place cleaned prior to my arrival! Excellent communication even across multiple time zones, keeping me updated every step along the way.

Wonderfully. The first time she furnished my vacation home in Anthem, AZ. I arrived to a beautiful, fully furnished, incredibly tasteful home, with no hassles at all. One of the things I love about Michelle is that she is very responsive to my texts. Even if she is busy, she will send me a brief reply telling me when she will be free to talk. Being accessible is vital in my opinion. I often sent her photos while I was shopping and she would respond instantaneously. The second time I hired her to fly to my home in California and help update my family room and living room. We spent four days shopping and planning and within six weeks all the furnishings had arrived. I absolutely love the facelift in my home in Modesto. I recommended her to my sister who purchased a vacation home in Anthem, and she did the same thing...took care of everything so that when my sister arrived at her home it looked fabulous. It was a lot of fun working with Michelle. I made the decisions but with her professional guidance. Many times when I ask for her opinion, she selects the less expensive item. I trust her. I have worked with Michelle at Changes Interior Design on three home improvement projects over the last three years. The first one was a small interior design project (paint, new curtains, interior décor, etc.) and a year later started a full-blown kitchen/living room remodel. Admittedly, I am a bit indecisive, so I leaned heavily on Michelle for all aspects of the renovation. I knew what color cabinets I wanted and that I wanted stack stone but that was about it. The suggestions she made were spot on and when I couldn't decide on something, she would make a suggestion, show me what she had in mind, tell me to trust her, and not kidding, every suggestion she made I loved! Once we saw how much we liked the kitchen renovations we added in the living room as well. When the remodel was done, I asked Michelle to go shopping with me to pick out pictures, decorations and even towels/shower curtains for the bathroom and there was no hesitation when I asked. Michelle is extremely patient, and I have really enjoy working with her! Whether the project is big or small, she does a fantastic job. We just recently finished our third project (bedroom) and am looking forward to a complete master bathroom remodel in the next year or so. I get compliments all the time on the work we've had done, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

My husband and I bought a 14,000 sq. ft. medical practice a little over two years ago. It had not been updated in over 15 years and needed paint, flooring, art....everything! This is my 3rd time working with Michelle. She designed the interior of our new home, our office building and now our new outdoor living space. Michelle did an excellent job from beginning to end of our project. Her design expertise was perfect. She’s reliable , helped us stay within our budget and has great craftsman working with her . She made it easier on us to pick out carpet , tile , paint and decor because she has such a great eye and can put everything together with ease . I will use her again when I have more decorating needs .

I wouldn’t buy or place anything in my house if it weren’t for Michelle. She uses a highly personal approach, makes the most out of things I already have, and even goes shopping with me to make sure I like what she recommends. Michelle did a wonderful job helping us add additional kitchen cabinets, totally design our new baby's room from scratch (including an amazing mural), redesign our master closet and do a lot of other improvements around the house over several months as we prepared for the arrival of our first child. She was very helpful! She traveled from Cave Creek to Central Corridor, Phoenix for the visit. We had several sample selections of wood from our flooring contractor.

It went amazing, at least for me. I know she was exhausted waiting for all the delivery trucks, starting at 7 am in the morning and not leaving until the evening. It was the easiest move I have done in my entire life and well worth the expense. It saved me so much time and running around once I moved into my new home. One of the things I loved about Michelle was her responsiveness. She ALWAYS texted back promptly, even to let me know she was with another client but would contact me at a certain time. I recommend Michelle without reservation. She is now my friend, and I look forward to taking her out to dinner when I return to Arizona next time (this was purchased as a vacation/investment property).

This was our first time working with a designer. We weren't sure what we wanted to do with the room. Once that was decided, Michelle had a wonderful vision for us! Her contractors were all very professional, worked very hard, punctual, and the quotes were reasonable. There were several moving pieces to our design, a brick wall installed, wall shelving, new furniture, curtains with alterations. Our room is a reflection of who were are, and she was able to help us demonstrate that in the design. We were a bit over budget, however, she worked hard to give us several options to work on our over/under. She is extremely patient... especially given that my husband and I are a total Jekyll and Hyde couple! I would highly recommend her.

This was a fun experience which from what I hear is rare. Michelle and her guys showed up when they said they would, they were quick, they were clean and trustworthy. I know Michelle has many other clients but somehow she made me feel like I was the only client when she was working on our project.

In a word... Amazing! In November of 2015 I closed on a home in Scottsdale. As a busy executive, I had quite a challenge in front of me.... Where was I going to find the time to furnish and decorate an entire 4,000 square foot home? I made some calls and spoke with several different interior decorators but I had trouble finding someone that would handle the entire project, end to end. Also, each left me with a vague sense of the timeline and budget. (not the greatest feeling!) Then I spoke with Michelle Robertson from Changes Interior Design. Not only could she handle the entire project, from paint color selection, to painting, to a few remodel items on the home, to furniture selection and purchase... literally everything I needed to make my new home move in ready. Perfect! We had a few meetings where Michelle got a sense of what I wanted. Then she got to work. Not only does Michelle have an amazing design sense, but she handles everything. Delivery late? Sub-contractor behind schedule? Michelle not only handles it all, but gets the job done on time and on budget. Simply put, she did an absolutely amazing job. The home looks amazing, and I love living in it every day. If you need a design or remodel project done, and done right, give Michelle at Changes Interior Design a call. We worked with Michelle at Changes Interior Design to do a complete remodel of our 2,000 sq ft house in Scottsdale. Michelle came up with the design, and once the changes were finalized, contracted out all of the work to her tradesman (who were all fantastic), and managed the entire project from start to finish. She was especially good at listening and communicating, which as anyone knows is vital to a project being successful. Her fee was reasonable and overall we could not be more happy with the work performed. Here is a breaddown of the work that was performed (approximately ~$75,000). There are probably a few things from the list below that I am missing, but overall we never suffered any setbacks during the project that were unreasonable. Her ability to manage a large project and listen/understand her client at the same time is extremely impressive. Kitchen: new kitchen counters (custom granite) painting/lacquering kitchen cabinets new kitchen appliances and fixtures switching from an electric stove to gas stove (all plumbing) farmhouse sink and associated cabinetry work new recessed lighting and under cabinet lighting designed/constructed full built-in desk area in kitchen, with lighting, electrical, cabinetry, etc. designed and built custom subway tile backsplash General: new solid core doors throughout house new paint throughout interior of house new electrical outlets/light switches/trim panels throughout interior of house wired den and bedrooms with individual surge-protected outlets and ethernet hookups Master bathroom (complete gut) changed entire layout to convert shower stall and tub to a large walk in double shower with two shower heads (one on each side) designed and built custom vanity with white cabinetry, marble countertops, and recessed lighting. changed glass block windows to two windows that we could open instead all new plumbing designed entire master closet built-ins for organizational purposes new sliding door for master closet all new tile flooring Guest bathroom (complete gut) Re-did entire shower stall area with tub (tub, tile, fixtures, etc) designed and built custom vanity (to match master) with white cabinetry, marble countertops, and lighting all new tile flooring (to match master)
