I made a bad dission on hiring an auction co. to sell off 95% of my personal estate so my son in medical school would not have to be bothered at a later time. The owner of the co. made lots of promisses, and in my opinon he failed to produce what he said i could expect from the sale, he said he had a good following and could expect 200 to 700 bidders at the sale, when infact there we're only 84 bidders. He told me i could not put a reserve on my stuff and asured me he would not let people steal my stuff. He told me i would be there to let them know what went and what didn't; he got mad at me because i would not sale certian items that we're dear to me and my family. The sale was a total fiasco! I was told to expect to make 50,000.00+ I only made 5,000.00 after the fees. when I wouldn't corporate he stated that "he was going to make money no matter what"  and then was selling items for a fraction of what they were worth.  I was in shock of how he handled the entire auction and his lack of professionalism. I advise anyone who is looking for auction services to stay away!!!
