My experience was okay. He did a good job servicing the vents.  He was a nice guy.  I did not think he was very professional and he was a little messy.   He talked a lot and he was little tense. He added a little stress to the situation. He was here for about 2 hours and he showed me what he found in the vents.

Excellent. A long vent from dyer to roof, tucked away in the attic, was cleaned thoroughly.

They were right on-time, easy to work with and they were professional.

Quick to respond, very polite, friendly.   Matt explained exactly what he would to doing; taking pre & post photos of the work.  Very thorough and exceptional price!   Give Matt a chance -- nice guy, great work and cheap!  Cant ask for more!!! 

He arrived on time and did an excellent job, using a variety of tools until the vent line was thoroughly cleaned.  We will definitely use this company again.

Everything was fine.

My next door neighbor had a laundry vent fire.  Thankfully, no one was hurt. Firefighters arrived around 9PM at night, hooked up to the nearest fire hydrant and sprayed lots of water into the house.  Was pretty ugly and the laundry room had to be gutted.   So that happened.
And I thought... wow... my laundry vent hasn't ever been cleaned or inspected... but it's probably not that bad...
Still, I was motivated to look up dryer vent cleaning services and was shocked that most services start at $100 or more per dryer vent.  Someone down the street paid $125 to get her dryer vent cleaned.  So I searched Angie's List, found Northstar and this great group rate deal.   There are no hidden charges... the pricing was upfront and did not change.
I contact Northstar via email and Matt, the owner, very very responsive.  Communication and scheduling was excellent.
Matt was prompt and professional.  He started by inspecting the duct work and was careful to take photos so he could more easily explain the repairs needed as well as document the before and after. 
As it so happened, my ductwork needed some small repairs, so I was able to inspect an 8 foot long section of the duct.  I was very surprise to see my dryer vent was completely, 100% obstructed with lint. After Matt cleaned our dryer vents and ducts our dry time is back to 20 - 30 minutes per normal load.
I will definitely use him again and highly recommend his services to others.  What a bargain!

They seemed to do the job.  They gave me good advise about pulling out the dryer to un-snag the hose to allow more dryer time.  He checked to see if anything was clogged.  It was a good deal.

Northstar Services Clothes Dryer Vent Cleaning did a wonderful job. He needed me there with him continually, and that required a lot of time out of me. He was very nice and did a good job.

Great service at a great price and very professional.  He was very thorough.  My exhaust vent is up on the roof and this did not deter him from taking his time to make sure everything was cleaned out.  He explained what he was doing throughout the entire process and was very friendly.  I will definitely use him again and highly recommend his services.

Was very thorough and informed us of very step of the process.

Matt was there when he said he would be, he also sent me a pic of himself when we made the appointment.This was very helpful as i was able to send his pic to my renters. I think all service people should do that. He sent me a pic of before and after of the vents. The vent looks brand new and it was extremely dirty. Did a great job on both homes and Matt is very nice.  I well defiently use Matt again.
