•Being certified by the Arizona State Forestry Department as a faller, provides me with skills and techniques not taught to your average arborists.
•I have also worked for many landscaping companies, all around the state of Arizona and Northern California. All of which I eventually became or was able to immediately assumed the position of lead faller/climber.
•Small local business, usually only me maybe one helper and am very precise about my falls. I am very experienced in many aspects of this field including but not limited to:
•Chainsaw Safety (Provided by U.S. Forest Service)
•Hazard Falls
•Hollow or compromised trunks
•Widow Makers
•Rot of multiple varieties
•Close proximity to structures and/or power lines.
•Knowledge of a variety of vegetation, native and foreign to Arizona.
•After high school, I studied Business Administration as my major and minored in Horticulture. Earning my degrees while I worked as a “Swamper” (basically was an apprentice for the guy felling the tree). During my attendance at my N. California college I became very knowledgeable about many aspects of this field including but not limited to:
•A variety of plants, their overall anatomy, and needs.
•Fungi and disease identification.
•Falling prep
•Directional Falling
•A variety of climbing techniques and climbing knots.
•Cutting angles (proper, improper, and plunge)
•Wind safety and kick back.
• And so much more!
•Although my main field of expertise is the trimming and falling of trees. I can also maintain or educate on how to properly care for trees, grass, flowers, and kinds of varieties of fauna, nutrient and soil mixture and irrigation as well.
