A very extremely long story short......The experience was a nightmare that lasted months. more problems were created and the contractor was very angry and using profanity, ultimately, the plumbing issues were fixed by other companies and water damage was created in my walls. To be fair with this contractor, all repairs were complete after several months.

Mike was very friendly, professional and informative about his work. He was not pushy at all and genuinely empathetic about my inconvenience. Mike capped my old lines and ran a new line through my wall. Very minimal damage and kept the job within a reasonable price for the work. Especially since I avoided an insurance claim (damaged kitchen hardwood floor) . Very happy with his service and I will definitely recommend Acme Plumbing to anyone with a Plumbing issue.

Mike did just as he had stated, he cut 2 holes to access the old pipe. He capped the old line and attached the new copper line. All in 4 hours. Mike was efficient, neat, and his quality was excellent. Mike cleaned up after completion and left the house looking just as nice or better then when he arrived. I just had to do some small drywall repair afterwards.

In December, our water bill was suddenly about 8 times what it usually is, and my husband had been saying that he could hear water running when the house got quiet at night. We did a preliminary check and could find no obvious problems. But by Christmas week, my husband was noticing the problem more often, so I got busy and began researching leak detection companies on Saturday, Dec. 23. Acme Leak Detection in Riverside sounded like a good place to start. When I called Mike there, he answered right away and listened to my problem. I summed up by asking how his schedule might be looking, for the upcoming week, right after the Christmas weekend chaos, since were a distance off from him. Well, instead, he offered to come over early the very next morning so that we didn't have any more leaking than w'd already had! Fabulous! The next morning (even though it was a Sunday Morning and Christmas Eve), he arrived bright and early, promptly located a leak in our MBR toilet tank, fixed the problem, and cleaned up the area. I was stunned that he could get so much done, so effectively, at a decent price and with a delightful attitude! It really made our family Christmas nicer to have had this positive experience, during a busy season. Mike the owner was very friendly and helpful. He told me somethings I can try first before having him come out. It didn't work, so he came out on time when we agreed with a time, he took care of the problem. I most definitely would call him again, if I needed a plumber.

Mike did a great job of unclogging the pipes to the sewer and explained exactly what was wrong. Then he capped a pipe that the original builders should have capped when they built the place. Since this is my first home, I thought it was supposed to be uncapped. Almost makes me wish I had a clog sooner.

Mike did a great job. He removed and replaced a 50-year-old toilet with a new one. Even though it presented a lot of unexpected problems, he went out of his way to take care of them - above and beyond what would be expected, and rate was more than reasonable.

Mike came the day after we called, as it was not an emergency. My husband tried to change the hose but could not get it loose. Too much hard water buildup and a bad back made it too hard for him to do. Mike had to work but managed to get it loose. We then asked if he could fix some other problems while he was here. Will hire him again and refer him to others.
