Everything went great.
The water heater was a challenge. They had to do some creative soldering to make the copper tubing from the old tank match up to the new tank. It turned out very nice and professional looking. What was especially nice was after they left there was no sign that they had ever been there, just this shiny new water heater.

The rental house was a bigger job than I expected. The pipes had been leaking under the house for some time and it was a muddy mess.
The house sits on a cement foundation with a crawl space under it. They had to tunnel under the house to reach everything. They tore out all the old cast iron pipe and replaced it with black plastic pipe.

I've had other local plumbers do work on this house. They usually just patch things up and leave. Tom at Mike Moran told me straight out, this is what's wrong and this is what is going to cost to fix it right.
I guess the best thing I can say is ...I trust them. They get it done and done right the first time.

The work was done in a decent amount of time and the installation was done beautifully.

Mike was very professional and courteous. He kept me very informed of what he was repairing and what advice he had for other needed repairs. The work was done correctly and efficiently. His response to my short-notice phone call was very quick and I greatly valued the advice he gave me on everything he looked at. I have already scheduled further work with Mike. I felt his pricing to be very fair and competitive with other plumbing services.

In June of 2011 I hired Mike Moran Plumbing to replace a water heater that was smoldering, I had used them in the past and had been happy with their work. This time, however, problems with the work started to show when we experienced a heavy amount of air in the lines everytime the hot water was run after the work was completed. I called them in Mid August and told them that I had hoped the air would bleed out but now two months had passed, something must be wrong. I thought they would schedule a time to come and look at it, instead they told me that since it had sputtered air one time from the washer back in June that it was just the city working on the lines. I called back again on Sept. 16 and got a call back the next day, but again they did not schedule an appointment to come out and look at it, I was at work calling on my break and my phone died but I called them an hour later from a land line and left them a message, now they don't seem to want to call back. I 'm going to have to hire another plumber to check to see what they did wrong with their work. Sure they were puntual, and the price and proffessionalism were fair when the original job was done, but when something goes wrong they aren't there to back up their work and make it right. I won't use them again, I'll just hire the guy I paid to fix their work to do it right the first time.

I called to get a quote and a faucet and he met me and gave me a price that was lower than others and reasonable. He performed the job and I was very pleased. I kept his card for a little over a year and needed him to clean out a clogged drain. He did the job the day I called and again he was very reasonable.

He showed up on time. He was concerned about getting the job done. He had great knowledge about the work he was doing. The entire crew worked very hard together to get the job done. Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of the business. His pricing was extremely fair. I would recommend to anyone.
