Our home warranty company. sent us Big Jon to fix a problem with dirty hot water. At first we were quite happy. Jon showed up, determined that the problem was with our hot water heater, and replaced the sacrificial anode. He flushed the water heater, disinfected it with chlorine bleach, and told us to keep it on high for a few days. He appeared competent, and we had a good impression. However, very soon we discovered that our hot water now had a really strong rotten-egg smell to it. We called Big
Jon but he was very bad about returning phone calls. The home warranty company called him too, and eventually he made an appointment with us to come out and flush the water heater again, but he never showed up.
Weeks later, we still haven't heard from him, and in addition to the rotten smell, the water is also turning black again.

Big Jon's? More like Big Mess!
I should have known when they did not call after mandated home owners deadline of 24 hours and I had to place two more calls. Finally they came to fix a minor leak in our garbage disposal. They replaced the garbage disposal alright. 48 Hours later I have disconnected plumbing, mold in my under sink cabinet, swelling baseboards, cracked paint, wood rot, and god knows what else after this "preferred vendor" from our Home Owners warranty company (another joke- Old Repulic) failed to install and connect all pipes and plumbing correctly under our sink. Now it is Easter, I have a house filled with family, and Big Jon's phones have been disconnected. Oh, and the Home Owners Warranty company can't guarnatee even a call in 24 hours. And, the water is still dripping like a river under my sink. Well done Big Jon's (can you sense the sarcasm?)
I am in the process of having another company of my choice (and expense) come to fix what they made a huge mess of.

"we tried to go and see what the problem was he would not alow us to go look i even sent a restoration company out he told them if they didnt have a check he didnt want to talk to them. we did call our insurance and they called the home owner he was rude and yelld at everyone he talked to my insurance did take care of the problem that he said we caused but the truth is that the disposal was already laeking it had been leaking for weeks befor he even called the warranty company when we went out there the damage was aready done."
