They did good. The service was very good. The price was reasonable. They were honest, reliable, and they did a good job.

You may see the review reposted on a few different locations, but that's because I wanted to give praise where it's due and can be see. Sergio (owner) went above and beyond for us, when faced with unforeseen circumstances, regarding our new AC install. His quote was very reasonable and held to it through out the installation process, despite the manufacturer delivering the wrong product and requiring an additional days labor. He even went the extra mile by rerouting our ductwork for better air circulation in the far rooms without being asked. We are definitely looking for to using his services again. I would highly recommend him and his son's to anyone who needs HVAC work.

Called ALDACO AIR in April of 2016 because my A/C wasn’t working and agreed to a replacement unit at a cost of $3K with 10 year warranty. Unit was paid for and installed. I was happy with it. Then in February 2017 I was trying to use heat and could not get it to work so called them and they sent out a technician. He told me my thermostat was not working and installed another one for $100 but would not cover the unit under warranty because I had not installed a filter. The filter goes on the outside and should have been installed when the unit was replaced, but I was never notified that it needed a filter in it and shown where the filter was to be put in it. After he left I tried to use the A/C again to test it and it would not work so I called ALDACO but while I was waiting I called another A/C technician to see if I could get another opinion of why it did not work. When the ALDACO technician arrived he found out I was on the phone with another A/C guy and he got upset and left saying don’t call them again for any problems. I have since called another company out to figure out what was wrong because I had lost confidence in ALDACO to solve my problem without incurring new ones. The technician from the other company had to again replace the thermostat (because it was the wrong type) and he could not get it working. He investigated further and found the unit was wired wrong when installed and that cost me another $150. I am not happy that when my unit was first installed by ALDACO they did not have the foresight to check that it worked properly to begin with, subjected me to possible warranty voiding due to no filter and not showing me where it was to be installed, wiring the unit incorrectly forcing me to spend an additional $250 due to their carelessness or the inexperience of the installer.

My 3 year old American Standard rooftop air conditioner started icing up and not working properly during the high humidity of the monsoon season. I had a referral to another company and they gave me a quote of $650 to repair and said they would have to move the gas supply line. Meanwhile they did not examine the coils and charged $69 service fee without a diagnosis of the problem. I found Aldaco Air on a google search of American .Standard repair . When I called Sergio answered the phone (he is the owner) he said he would wave the inspection fee and could come out in a few hours. On arrival he was very professional, accessed the interior without re routing my gas line and diagnosed the problem as dirty coils due to our pet dander that is sucked up past the filter. His quote for repair was $350. About half the other company. He also was able to correct the problem then and there. Within a couple hours cold air was blowing again and work was completed. Responsive, Honest and competent, Sergio is our only person in the future when we have HVAC Issues.
