I took my car in and they diagnosed the problem. They then gave me an estimate (which they came under when it was done) and then they did the repairs and phoned me that it was completed. It was all done in one day and they kept me informed every step of the way (by phone) so there would be no surprises. It was a lovely experience which isn't something I normally say about a garage!
