We hired these guys through Anthony Aizpuru as the project manager to build a custom home for my elderly mother. Despite our attempts to convince my mother not to go with this guy as there was currently a pending ROC complaint at the time she decided to use him. He knew my father had just passed away and I believe he used this to take advantage of my mom. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely disappointing to say the least. Despite receiving a significant amount of money upfront, the contractor consistently missed deadlines, failed to pass multiple inspections, and eventually abandoned the project without completing the work.Communication was poor, and attempts to get updates or resolutions were either ignored or delayed. As of today, the home remains incomplete, and we?ve had to seek legal advice and alternative options to fix the situation. The only thing he did quickly was a demolition. do not hire for reno or construction

The quality of work was great. Could have been better with communicating delays, but always wanted to make things right.

Gave a timely written proposal after meeting at the property and confirming the scope of work. Their pricing was fair, their communication was excellent and the quality of the work was very good. You can use them with confidence.

I hired them in September 2022, it took until June 2023 to get the permit for an addition. I understand the City of Phoenix was backed up on their requests and took longer than expected. The company used for the permits were lazy. The guys who did the foundation was great, they knew what they were doing, the framer was really good. The plumbers were really good at their job. Drywall & Texture was done great. HVAC was goofy. The painters did a beautiful job. The final project is beautiful.

I was promised a job done in 5 months, but it has been 11 months, and my house is not complete. Anthony Aizpuru lies to me constantly.

Had an emergency demo job that needed to be done before closing on a property sale. They were very fast in their response time, finished the job early, and did it well. Would highly recommend.

Anthony is a great project manager. I needed a super last minute demo crew for our master bathroom and he replied/showed up for a bid the same day. He fit us into their very busy schedule and they got to work the following week. We've even kept him on for some additional projects and will continue to use him in the future! Can't go wrong with hiring him!!

I requested a quote for a project to remove a large pantry that separated the living room and our kitchen for an open concept. Anthony came out and quoted me a great price, the next day came with his team and completed the job. Anthony and his team went above and beyond, cleaned up thoroughly and left it even better than when they arrived. I would highly recommend AZ Design & Build. Anthony and his team were very easy to work with and were able to come out the next morning to remove our cabinets and countertop. They were fast, removed all of the debris and left zero mess. Highly recommend working with them.

Hardest working crew I have ever used. Arrived on time and stayed late. Work was completed on time with little distruption to our lives. Anthony is a joy to work with and made sure we were absolutely happy with the project. Did a great job cleaning up. Going to be doing more work in the fall and will definitely use them.

Did what they said they would do

We took a chance without a personal referral and requested a quote from a few contractors for a large shed demolition and removal and was contacted within 30 minutes by AZ Design & Build. Anthony and his team were at our place the next day to check it out, and then scheduled the demolition for the next day! Within a few hours on the next day, our shed was GONE, the concrete slab underneath completely removed, and the power was disconnected and removed. I am still in awe of how fast they were able to get the project done. While they were there, we mentioned that we were looking to have the gravel removed in our backyard because we eventually would like to put grass in. On the SAME DAY, the entire crew stayed late to start shoveling the gravel. The next morning they continued the job and finished within a few hours. These guys are no joke! The shed fell on 2 of our smaller trees and knocked them over a bit, they re-attached them to the support poles and said that if we have any issues with them they would replace them for us which is super considerate. Plus, they even found out that we had sprinklers under all of that gravel for our future grass which was so great to know! We’re also in need of cabinets in our laundry room and their designer is currently working on a proposal for us. Not only are they the fastest contractors I have ever worked with, the attention to detail and quality of work is superior and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for any sort of contractor work. I’m looking forward to working with them on our next project to see what else they can accomplish!
