Every time, the work was done professionally. I have never had any problems getting in touch with Dave or any problems with the work he has done for us.

Dave and the whole crew were very prompt and professional. They scheduled the job around our hours of operation, and our patients were not inconvenienced by the work. Dave and the crew came in over the weekend and were able to finish before we opened for business on Monday. Dave also scheduled touch ups for the following weekend.

Dave was very professional. He was quick in repair time and did an excellent job! I would use his services again.

Maintenance items straight forward - replace ceiling fan, replace disposal. Real value was in planning for a future re-model. Listening to my ideas; asking questions; identifying alternate materials/construction techniques; letting me decide without 'pushing' a preferred option.

The contractor was very efficient, demonstrated excellent skills and professionalism, was on time in every scheduled step of construction and followed details on plans' modifications and alignment with county inspectors. What a great company!

The entire project went incredibly well. David Good is a perfectionist when it comes to construction and painting, both interior and exterior. He uses the best paint and materials, is meticulous about edge lines and other details, and works quickly and efficiently. He cleans up during and after the job so you don't even know he was there. I have used him before and will use him again in the future. Many Sedona AZ neighbors have commented on how terrific the new paint looks on the house!

Work was professionally completed, performed as agreed upon, and on schedule. I was impressed with Dave’s eagerness to accommodate any request and make sure that I was happy with the process and results.

We are very pleased with all the work that Dave Good completed for us. His carpentry, drywall and painting skills are excellent and Dave went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with his work. As a realtor, Dave served as a buyer's agent for us and, again, did a great job! Not often do you find someone who is as talented and skilled in so many areas of remodeling as Dave is. We are glad to be in our new house and have already booked him for several more projects.

The first time we hired Dave was to fix drywall,carpet and molding that was damaged following a bathroom leak/flood. Dave was meticulous in the matching and repairs and spotless in his cleanup afterwards. So we felt confident in bringing back for a bigger job: Our backyard remodel. He outperformed even our very high expectations. Dave is nearly obsessive in his attention to detail and truly considers his finished work as a personal signature. We also saw his experience and reputation demonstrated when he was able to make small but great design improvement suggestions and to be able to call expert colleagues for input and support. He is the first person we now call...we wholeheartedly recommend him. We have more projects with him scheduled already!

Dave served as general contractor on at least 8 jobs. He oversaw all facets...from concrete, structural, finish to hardscape. All at high quality and inside timeframe and target budget.

There are many painting companies to chose from and some will do a “decent” job. If you are looking for an exceptional painter with a passion for perfection in all he does call Dave Good. From the estimate to project completion, Dave was a pleasure to work with. His honesty and integrity is hard to find today. He prides himself on aiming to simply “beautify” your home and he truly delivers. His prep work and attention to detail went well beyond the ordinary - he carefully power washed the stucco, diligently repaired drywall taping on my patio veranda, stained/refurbished front door (looks like new), sanded/repaired sun damaged patio door frames, caulked around windows, and much more I appreciate Dave’s detail orientation in all stages of project. I KNOW that my home will look great for years to come - There are several other renovations on my list and looking forward to working with Dave on these - as a veteran custom home builder, Dave’s expertise goes well beyond painting.......Thanks Dave!

My original review was posted in the wrong category and I don't know of a way to edit it. I am reposting, so that it can be placed in the more appropriate categories. I rated Quality (above) as a C because the new floor WAS done. If that had been the only work for which Mr. D. Good was hired and paid, I would have given a B. However, the paint job was pathetic and worthy of an F. He gave me a plausible reason for needing to be paid in advance and, foolishly, I accepted it as genuine and paid him in full before completion of the contract. In return, he painted only walls - very badly! By convincing me to stay with the same color, he think he assumed that his poor workmanship would not show. My pictures prove otherwise! Actually, the amateurish performance is so obvious that visitors have commented! He left me with several patchy walls and the need to hire a real painter to correct his lousy work. Mr. Good wiped the doors, skirting boards, etc. with a cloth and then tried to convince me that he painted them while I was out of country. Other than the patchy walls, NO PAINTING was done. I had to employ two men to (a) replace all furniture that had been moved, even though that work was included in the written bid price given to me by Mr. Good, and (b) replace electric switches which, ironically, had been removed - by his wife - to facilitate the painting her husband was hired to do. When presenting his bid for the work, he claimed to have a history of building $ Million houses, in Sedona, AZ. After my experience with him, I made some enquiries about his work record and learned that he is a handyman and advertises locally as such. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with being a handyman if you don't claim skills that you have yet to acquire.
