He was supposed to do the whole job and then get paid. I signed the check over to him and then paid himself and stopped working, which he was not supposed to do. The money was for him to get his supplies to work on the house. He did a horrible job and the roof looks terrible. He did not put certain boards down. The roof is still leaking.
